Chisel for a circular saw or a trimmer with your own hands

Circular saw: making it with your own hands and features

Circular saw is the same circular saw based on the ordinary circular saw. It allows you to cut with great precision at the required angle almost all materials. from plastic to metal. It costs a lot of money for such a tool from the manufacturer, i.e. in the ready-made form, and it is not so difficult to assemble it yourself. So if you really need a crosscut saw and your hands are in the right place, the following information will be very useful.

The mitre saw consists of a few indispensable elements

Let’s get to the point: you have a circular saw, and you assemble a home-made mitre saw. The first three items are already available in the circular saw itself, and the fourth may not be necessary if you skillfully assemble the guide bar for the saw.

Circular saw selection. Answers to the most important questions

Modern crosscut saws allow making compound cuts. Saw blade of the tool can be turned not only to the right or left, for sawing the workpiece at a desired angle in the horizontal plane, but also tilted to one or both sides, thereby providing a vertical cut. Modern crosscut saws have different possibilities of horizontal and vertical sawing that’s why let’s speak briefly about what you should pay attention to when choosing a saw according to these parameters.

Trimming saws can be tilted in one or both directions. In terms of functionality, both variants are the same: with single-sided models you can perform the same sawing operations as with double-sided models. But as far as convenience is concerned, the latter wins hands down.

To cut each end of the board on a one-sided saw, the workpiece must be removed from the frame, turned over and re-fixed. Such juggling becomes a special challenge when working with long and heavy workpieces in large quantities. Tilting to both sides saves time and effort.

Modern models range from 25 to 122 mm.

At an angle the trimmer does not cut as deep as when in the 90° position. Machines with a shallow angular cutting depth is an option for those who plan to work with laminated wood, laminate and other thin materials. For all other cases it is important to considerably match this parameter with what is mainly to be sawn. This avoids the most frequent disappointment when it turns out that the tool is unable to handle thick workpieces at an angle.

It is also important to remember that angular sawing puts a lot of stress on the tool. the higher the power, the better the quality of the cut.

At non-industrial trimming saws this parameter varies from 45 to 122 mm. Perpendicular to the workpiece surface is the most common configuration in which most sawing operations are performed. That’s why special attention should be paid to this parameter when choosing a machine. The more the depth of straight cut, the higher the class of the equipment.

Parameter that reflects the maximum width of the workpiece that can be cut at right angles. Modern domestic and professional saws have cutting depths in the range of 85 mm to 430 mm. In general, this is one of the key factors that determine the performance of the machine. It’s important to remember that a 45° kerf will be much narrower than a right angle kerf.

Purpose and use of mitre saws

To saw the material manually at an angle, and evenly, you need to make a lot of effort and use special devices. To facilitate this process, electric mitre saws were invented. They enable workpieces to be cut precisely at the desired angle and inclination. That is, the angle can be changed horizontally as well as vertically. The tool is used by installers, carpenters and finishers. Circular saws are used for production of furniture, doors, skirting boards, windows, flooring and many other applications. Not only wood, but also plastic and metal corners and pipes can be sawed with this tool.

Trimming saws are fast, easy and comfortable to use.

How to make a circular saw

Let’s proceed to assembly

  • We cut a rectangular sheet of plywood and make a long cut on it, on which your circular saw will ride;
  • On top, screw two rails, for example, from an aluminum angle, to the width of the working plane of the circular saw itself;
  • From below to the plywood sheet you need to screw two stands of the same height as your saw’s cutting depth (5.3 cm).

As a result we have the guide rail, along which the circular saw will walk. Depending on how we fix it on the table with such a simple mechanism, we can make a precise cut at any angle. The simplest variant of construction is ready.

But what if we want our crosscut saw to be more functional in operation and look like a factory mitre saw?? In this case we will have to show more ingenuity.

  • First, it is necessary to construct a bracket and a stand on which the circular saw will be fixed. Particleboard (27 mm) is an excellent raw material for such a mechanism. With the help of self-tapping screws and aluminum corners you will have a very nice top part of the mitre saw. And the springs fixed on top can make the work on such a saw more convenient;
  • Secondly, you need to fix the stand itself on the movable turntable, to make a pendulum saw, so that we can eventually change the angle of faceting.

As for the trimmer itself, it tells all about the assembly. However if we decided to make a saw which looks like a table from the factory it will be hard to do without a table.

How to make a crosscutting saw from a manual circular saw at home

Hello dear readers and subscribers of Andrew Noack’s blog. In this article I will tell you how to make a trimming device for your home purposes from a manual circular saw, while spending a minimum of money to make. Trimming from a hand-held circular saw. A good helper in your household with which you can do “very big things!

I think it is inexpedient to focus on the term “circular saw”, because everyone has a firsthand understanding of what this device is, and there are enough thematic materials in my blog. I will try to tell you what exactly is a crosscut saw (facing saw) and deliver as much useful information as possible for a visual representation.

The pendulum slicer and mitre saw is designed as follows. The basis of any machine is the base frame. At the same table is fixed, which in turn is made on the swivel mechanism with a ruler. This device permits the task of setting the angle of cut with its adjustment.

Angle of cut can be adjusted by moving the table in relation to the plane of the base. The sawing element is supported by a lever and suspended by a hinge. The saw is moved vertically by means of a pendulum.

As for the combination model variant, the cutting angle can be changed as needed in two directions. The structure is the same as that of the pendulum saw, only an additional pivot is added to the design. As for changing the cutting angle in the horizontal plane, it can be changed in the horizontal direction, which in turn is opposite to the mounted drive.

Saws with broach enables you to move the cutting element both around the axis of the hinge mechanism, and in the forward direction along the kerf. This is achieved by installing guides, (pictured below).

For convenience on the trimming machine, operators use a special attachment for trimming on the circular saw, which is called the jig. Simple design, which consists of a tray for boards, clamping sheet of plywood or other material, clamping elements (clamps, etc.), etc.). How does this device work? To this banal question I will try to answer simply and clearly.

The board is placed in the chute and pressed down by the sheet Woodchip board. Clamped with clamps and a hand saw, circular saw, angle grinder made sawing workpieces through special side cuts. Often the jig is used to cut the material at an angle of 45-90 degrees in home workshops on circular saws. This attachment can be used to quickly cut a board into pallets or boards.

After all the information, you have an idea of what a facing box is and what it is for. Next, I will tell you how to make with improvised materials with my own hands from a hand circular saw.

The base of the structure was a box made of particleboard. It is “U” shaped. Knocked down and fastened with screws. It is clamped to the work table (workbench) with clamps to prevent displacement of the shelf.

Base under the saw is screwed on the shelf from above. Fastening is also carried out by dowels. Observe the perpendicularity of the planes, as the edge will be level with the sole of the saw.

Let’s line up the sawing base on the edge. This will prevent displacement and wiggling. On the sides we screw in the chipboard strips with self-tapping screws. Thus, the sole positioning is achieved.

The saw is fixed with clamps and clamps. It is possible to make thumb clamps. Here is such a device for trimming on the circular saw in this variant turned out. Popularly, such a device is called “Foreman”.

Next to the base, the “table” base is fixed to the table. The only disadvantage is that the cutting depth is reduced by 15 mm. So I have to place the profile as close as possible to the saw blade.

After making the test cut, we get the cut trimmer line on the base of the stop. Thus, it was possible to construct a crosscut saw out of a circular saw with my own hands. This design of the device copes with the task by all means. If you still do not have the ability to construct this type of equipment, or simply do not have time to do it, you can take advantage of rental services with a slicer at affordable prices, in specialized workshops.

Another good device for working with wood can be attributed to the wood planer. What is it? It can be divided into two types. manual and in the form of a full-fledged reismusovaya machine. As a rule, the manual version is needed only for the transfer of data from the drawing to the actual material and workpieces.

As for the planer machine, it is more functional. In addition to transferring information, it is possible to carry out full processing of blanks. Such equipment is purchased by furniture factories, you can also meet in everyday life during the construction of private facilities. This is what reismus looks like with a circular saw and a facing machine, I attach the photo below:

As for the usual device of the rismus, it consists of three parts. A supporting stand with a dimensional ruler, a clamping device, and a device for marking on the part. They are usually made of hardwood.

Professional equipment

Now for the professional equipment. Consider circular saw Zubr ZPTP-255-1800. The tool is used for sawing wooden parts and thin-walled metal. Why Combination Saw? All because it can be used as a facing machine, and work as a circular machine.

This machine combines a mitre cutter and circular saw at the same time. Adjustable head alignment allows you to perform high quality cuts. The machine allows you to perform sawing longitudinally at any given angle. The equipment has a locking mechanism to engage the drive and raise the safety guard. This model has the ability to connect an industrial vacuum cleaner to maintain cleanliness in the workplace.

You can buy a crosscutting circular machine in the area of 15. 20 thousand.

Another good option in all the gray mass of equipment can be distinguished Makita MLT100 table trimmer.

Used both in everyday life and in professional production in the shops, workshops. Machine design allows moving it on a special cart and it is easily mounted in the allocated place on the workbench. The sliding table allows you to work with oversized workpieces. The table can be turned to the side as well as forward. Long life of this equipment is increased due to the high quality of parts and materials used during assembly.

Allows to make the cut both vertically and under the specified inclination. High precision of the cut parts due to the presence of clamps, guides, scales with degrees and a ruler. Equipment combines box cutter and circular saw.

A separate advantage is the engine speed stabilization system, which in turn plays an important role in the initial start-up of the equipment.

The kit includes an electric brake. Connector for connection of a dust extractor, useful for large volume operations.

What is the purpose of this tool and how does it work?

Device designed for cross-cutting wood at different angles is called a cross-cutting saw. Often this tool is also referred to as an electric plier, similar to a carpentry tool in the form of a tray for cutting planks at a certain angle. This saw is designed so that you can make cuts by changing both the vertical and horizontal angles of the saw blade.

Long workpieces can be cut by changing vertical and horizontal angles

The functionality of the coping saw is useful in woodworking where two workpieces or constructions need to be accurately butted by their faces. It is to ensure the accuracy of the sawing and requires a bed, which can have legs or be installed on a table. Such work is often needed for the following purposes:

  • Making decorative frames;
  • The framing of door bows;
  • the construction of skirting boards;
  • construction of wooden building structures in the construction of houses and ancillary buildings;
  • Finishing work with clapboard or plastic panels, as well as laying wood, parquet flooring or laminate.

If you install a certain type of discs on such equipment, you can cut light metal or plastic profiles and pipes. If necessary, the trim saw can even select the thickness of the wood, making slots, which are often used in the manufacture of window or door frames and bowls.

Such work is often performed in the manufacture of window frames

Despite their solid appearance, and the fact that such saws are often called machine tools, their weight is small (about 18 kg) and they can be an excellent tool for home or cottage workshop.

Parts of the mechanism

All mitre saws have a simple design, mostly similar for different types of these tools. Their main elements are:

The main structural elements of the endmounted saw

  • Stand with a round rotary table (some models have a double-sided, extending table on integrated supports);
  • swivel lever, attached to the frame by a special pivot with a return spring, on which the saw blade and the handle with buttons for starting and braking the blade are mounted, such lever is called a pendulum, hence the name of the whole tool is called a pendulum saw;
  • electric motor located on the pendulum to the right of the saw blade (in some models, it is mounted on the back of the pendulum for better visibility;
  • Disk tilt adjustment knot, which allows to turn the cutting head of the tool to the left of the operator by any angle up to
circular, trimmer, your, hands

45o, turning to the right is not possible because of the motor located on this side;

On the table of the tool on the place of the cut there is a special insert in the form of a trough of the tray type, which allows the saw blade to cut through the workpiece to the end, making a neat cut. There is a scale on the base for turning the table in both directions by a certain angle. The table is locked in position with a screw clamp. The saw blade of the tool is protected by a special transparent casing, which allows the master to clearly see the place of sawing. For convenience, many models of trimming saws are equipped with a laser indicator that shows in what place the cut will be made and the table light.

To understand in more details the crosscut saw’s design and purpose of its main units, as well as to see how they are used at work is possible in the following video.

Scope of self-made circular saw application

In the process of building a new house, when wood material is used in large quantities, a homemade circular saw is not enough. Yes, and the functionality of such a device will need a wider. And when performing repairs, the home circular saw becomes an indispensable technical assistant.

Circular saw, made by our own hands, allows you to perform safe work and speed up the construction process

Quite often the dimensions of wooden elements are determined directly in the course of the work. The ability to provide the necessary materials yourself saves a great deal of money and time. And often the quality of wooden workpieces is also better.

With a home-made circular saw it is possible to cut boards into strips, make laths, battens, peel blanks, saw boards of wood materials into fragments of required sizes.

Using home-made circular saw, you can make such types of furniture, such as a table, shelf, rack. Such stationary home tool is applicable in the creation of wooden sports equipment, fabrication of containers, etc. д.

If you install a disc with certain technical characteristics on the saw machine, the mechanism can be used as a circular saw for metal. Soft aluminum and other metals, thickness not exceeding 2 mm, may be sawed. When working with thicker material the machine will overheat, triggering the automatic cutoff.

For preparing firewood and simple sawing of pieces of wood a firmly mounted table with a slot for the saw is enough

How to make a circular saw with his own hands: the preparatory stages of work

Before you put a point in the question about the advisability of making a circular saw with your own hands, you need to get acquainted with several such devices, view videos on the Internet

During observations and inspections, pay special attention to the main elements, parts, and fixing methods. To understand how to make a circular saw, you need at least theoretical knowledge

The fabrication process can be done in two ways:

In the case of the latter option, the task is somewhat complicated, as parts and mechanisms are bought most often in different places, but they must match the technical and functional characteristics.

Scheme of making a circular saw with their own hands

Without the drawing it is impossible to take into account the dimensions of the elements and pick up the complete set. Quite often this stage (drawing work) is omitted by home craftsmen because of the lack of skill to perform. It is not necessary to do this, because it is enough to draw the saw. At least it allows to visualize the future machine

To imagine what the end result will be is extremely important

Only after you have a drawing or sketch and all the necessary elements can you begin the assembly process.

How to properly use the jigsaw

The use of a jig greatly simplifies the work of the master. The following is a concrete example of why the jigsaw is used. Before working, carefully read the instructions from the manufacturer.

How to saw the material

In order to cut the element properly it is necessary to prepare the material carefully, taking a plane with a saw. The presence of slots allows you to make accurate and even workpieces, as the saw will take a set position. The first thing to do is to secure the tool with screws or a screw clamp on a flat surface. Next, use a pencil or laser to make a mini-drawing. Place the workpiece in the tray. In doing so, the marking should be against the corresponding slot. Then a hacksaw is inserted and the cut is made.

It is possible to change the angle. Depending on the conditions of the drawing, it can be enlarged or reduced. Unfortunately not all walls are adjacent to each other at right angles. Therefore there is a logical question, what to seal the joints of drywall and the wall. The easiest way. to use putty. In small corners it is acceptable to use corrugated tape. It is possible to make an arbitrary angle by using an electric model of the tool. Place the skirting board on the work surface, fix it and use an angle gauge to make marks. After sawing the obtained details should be aligned.

Sawing off the corners of the skirting boards inside and outside

When preparing the corners of the floor plinth, it is necessary to know the basic rules. The formation of the inner corner is done as follows:

  • Place the saw on the table sideways to itself;
  • The skirting board, depending on the left or right side, is pushed to the other side of the instrument;
  • The left detail is placed on the left side of the jigsaw, and the corner is cut off to the right;
  • In the right details, the corner is cut accordingly on the left side;
  • The sawing should be without the allowance for jointing;
  • Then the workpieces are aligned and checked for a tight fit.

When working with an outside corner, the skirting board is pressed not to the opposite part, but to its. Attach the left side to the right, and saw off the left corner. Install the right side on the left and saw off the right corner. In each case, the baseboard is cut from the front side.

How to use the power mitre properly

Thanks to the plinth saw, everyone will be able to cut certain materials. But before you start, please read the rules for its use. In addition, prepare additional materials:

  • hacksaw (tooth pitch must correspond to the type of material to be processed);
  • Assembly knife. needed for cutting the foam skirting board;
  • A ruler and a pencil. for marking on the material;
  • sandpaper. for deburring irregularities and burrs.
  • It is better to fix the skirting board in the jigsaw on the right side, and cut the corner on the left side of the product;
  • The left product is mounted on the left, and the corner is cut off on the right.

How to saw the material

During the sawing it is extremely important not to mix up the sides. In order to cut a material at 90 or 45 degrees, the machine is fastened in the body and then rests against the end wall

And only then the material is sawn. If the tool is a professional one, it is possible to adjust the size down to the millimeter.

Under each section you should make a template, taking into account the reserve of 50 mm. Since the walls in the rooms are not always even, before cutting the material, you should check how they fit together.

Sawing should be carried out this way:

  • mark the line for the trimmer cut with a pencil;
  • Lay your product in the body of the jigsaw with its front side so that the mark of the cutting line looks like a continuation of the slit in the tool;
  • The workpiece from the end of the enclosure wall press, put a hacksaw into the slot, then cut the material according to the mark;
  • Insert the other side of the second piece into the slot;
  • We sand away any irregularities with fine abrasive paper.

How to cut an arbitrary angle

Sometimes the walls are not connected to each other at right angles, then the sawing will need to be adjusted. This is done by two methods:

  • Use heavy paper or a homemade cardboard template. In the case, if the inside of the baseboard is hollow, it is unlikely to hold vertically. In this case, you will need a homemade corner, in which the product is placed, as well as in the jig. The corner is laid on the stencil prepared in advance, so that it corresponds to the template, then the product is cut according to the marks.
  • Make marks on the material with a pencil. Cut two products at a 90-degree angle, then put them against the wall and mark a scaffolding trimmer for the abutment. Find the contact point of the baseboards, then transfer the markings to the material, make a cut.

Sawing off the corners of the skirting boards (inside and outside)

The rules for sawing off the inside corner of the floor plinth are as follows:

  • Place the crossbow parallel to yourself on the table;
  • press the product to the opposite side from yourself;
  • Place the right-hand side of the skirting board on your right side, and the left-hand side, respectively; make the cut on the opposite side;
  • Combine the two parts of the skirting, the result will be an inner corner, the top of which is located away from yourself.

As for sawing the outer corner, the following rules should be followed

  • On the table, we put the chair parallel to itself, as in the previous case;
  • Press the skirting board from your side;
  • The right item is set to the right, the left. on the contrary, bring it to the diagonal line, sawing up from the bottom;
  • connect the parts, we have an outer corner with the apex towards yourself.

Prepare the sides of the jigsaw

Parts of plywood or scraps of planks are used to make the side parts for the skirting board. To get a quality tool, it is worth adhering to the exact measurements and recommendations:

  • The approximate size of the sides should be 10 millimeters for plywood and 20 mm for the boards;
  • Their height is chosen from 30 to 50 millimeters, depending on the purpose of the tool (for the ceiling skirting boards recommend 30 mm, and wooden about 50 mm);
  • The length of the side walls of the jigsaw should be 250 mm or more, but it is not recommended to lengthen them too much, because it would be inconvenient to perform the work. As an exception can be used by a longer length of the cutter, but it is only for massive objects.

After measuring the sides of the boards, we saw out two absolutely flat and identical elements

This is very important for further sawing of boards and their marking tools. In prefabricated tools make a marking at the bottom for screws

This is interesting: Dividing heads. universal and optical

How to make a table for a face saw with their own hands

A good material for the table can serve as a 19mm Fiberboard board.

  • Measure the depth and width of the entire structure (the end saw);
  • Now measure the width and depth of the workbench on which the table and the end piece itself will stand;
  • As a result, the lower part of the wood-fiber board table should be equal to the width and depth of the workbench, and the upper part should be two parts and be in total less in length by the width of the trimming saw;
  • The height of the table should be equal to the depth of the cut;
  • Inside the table (between the upper and lower boards) at a distance of 50 cm it is important to make rigid partitions of the same Fiberboard-plate. This is necessary so that when you press the table does not bend.

Now that’s exactly everything. The crosscut saw from an ordinary circular saw is ready.

Makeshift saw from an angle grinder

A coping saw from an angle grinder is one of the common models. The advantage of this design is that the angle grinder can be removed and, after changing the disc, used for its direct purpose. for cutting metal. The simplest scheme allows you to saw boards at an angle of 90 degrees.

  • First make the base frame from a sheet of metal framed in an angle. A vertical stand made of metal profile is welded (bolted) to it.
  • To the piece of pipe fix the brackets for fixing the angle grinder, which is embraced by the cover made of any improvised material. The main condition. the reliable fixation of the grinder.
  • The tube is fastened to the stand by the usual bolt joint. To hold in an upright position, the stops or a self-clamping fixture are installed.
  • After fixing the angle grinder, in the basement make a cut to the entire diameter of the disk, so the kerf of the workpiece is complete.
  • To change the position of the parts to be grinded, make the side stop pivotally. To make it easier to choose the right angle you can mark in degrees.

Every home handyman is able to assemble a crosscut saw from a circular saw and angle grinder independently. In doing so, the realization of these ideas opens up great creative potential for improving the existing design.

For DIY enthusiasts, the mitre saw is one of the most popular and indispensable tools. Replacing the primitive crosscut saw, it quickly gained popularity in small workshops and large-scale production. The advantage of this tool is precise and safe cutting at right angles or set angles. The motor is most often located above the base, and is mounted on a movable carriage with a handle. The cutting depth is set by the stops in the base, and by hand. This power tool is already appreciated by many professional and amateur crafters alike. We suggest you do it, too!

This design has two main disadvantages:

  • To adjust the accuracy of the wood cut with the broach machine, you need to use scraps of wood. After that the pull rod can be firmly fixed and work normally;
  • Such a home-made machine with a broach when sawing pipes and working on metal makes a lot of noise, which can have a negative impact at least on the mood of your neighbors.

Assembling a complex machine

There is a variant with a more complex and heavier in weight. It is sure to cope with the sawing of pipes. In this homemade installation will not require the use of a circular saw as a component of the machine. But for certain stages of work, it is better to have a circular saw at hand.

Depending on the components you choose, you can get a machine of higher power. To assemble the machine by your own

  • An electric motor with a power of about 900 watts. If you have to saw pipes regularly, you can also choose a more powerful electric motor;
  • Sheet metal;
  • Corners made of metal;
  • Square bar;
  • Hinged groups;
  • Angle grinder;
  • Welding device;
  • File;
  • A spring of impressive power.

When all the necessary things are assembled in the workplace, you can begin to assemble the crosscutting machine with your

  • Homemade frame can be made with their own hands by using adjustable supports, angles of metal and posts from the bed.
  • The work surface is a sheet of strong metal. In this table-sheet you need to make holes and process them with a file.
  • To weld a pendulum rack for the future machine, use channels and a welding machine. The structure is mounted on a sheet of metal. The approximate height of the stand. 80 centimeters.
  • The stand for the electric motor is made of sheet metal in the form of a fixed plate. Be sure to mount the stand on hinges.
  • The electric motor of a crosscut saw is stabilized by a powerful spring. If you manage to find one, the straps and pendulum can be dispensed with.
  • Using the hinged bolt, you will be able to make tensioning and adjusting the belts. The pendulum can be made out of metal, to make the design reliable, durable.
  • Choose the disk of the required diameter. A circular saw blade with a diameter of 400 to 420 millimeters is usually sufficient for domestic purposes.
  • Always provide protective guards, because the assembly of such a machine is accompanied by a certain degree of danger.

Making

I started with the kit, I bought four slides, supports for the rails, two meters of the cylindrical guide itself with a diameter of 25mm at the local store.

In total you need to make 3 parts, plus you need to cut the guides to one size and make holes in them with a thread.

I ordered three parts of sheet steel for laser cutting, for this I sent a file in vector format to the technologists for cutting on the machine.

Sawed the guideways with the machining allowance and gave them to the turner.

Once all the parts were ready and were lying in the shop, I had only to do a little locksmith work in the form of cutting a few threads in the sheet metal elements.

Sheet metal parts were taken for sandblasting and powder coating, at the same time I bought some fasteners, the name and quantity of which was determined in the course of modeling the machine.

In a day I took the parts from the paint shop and assembled the machine like a kits, quite a nice thing to do.

As a roughing table I bought a sheet of plywood 15 mm thick.

I will not give specific numbers, but for comparison, I will say that the production of the machine, cost about the price of a budget cross-cutting saw from the store.

Of course there are a lot of thoughts about it, and they may seem a bit confusing, but still.

You can take an alternative route and make this machine solely with an angle grinder and a drill, without design and modeling. In this case, to spend a lot of time on sawing out parts with an angle grinder from a rusty sheet, and in the evening, taking a shower, to blow out black snot, overcoming muscle pain and fatigue.

Of course, you can also save money on the purchase, trying to find something suitable for this in a metal recycling shop. But how much time it may take, and whether you will find?

Another option. To make everything from plywood, as did the author of the video, from which I took the idea of the machine. It seems he had enough stiffness and overall everything worked, and it was cheaper, but I didn’t feel this machine in my hands.

Everyone chooses the option which is closer to him.

I partially did it all myself: I designed it, assembled it. The other part of the work was done for me by people. It turns out that I have not done everything myself. so I have not homemade?

What characterizes the homemade? Independence of production and / or use only hand tools in the manufacture? Or maybe something else?

Some time has passed and the machine described above has been finished. Some Комментарии и мнения владельцев were taken into account, but not all. Not worthy of a separate article, but this will be a fuller article.

One more small modernization which is probably worth mentioning in this article.

I added a laser pointer of a line whose principle of work is based on refraction of a laser beam in a cylindrical glass.
