Gasoline trimmer how much oil to add per liter

How to Mix Oil and Gas: The 2-Cycle Engine Fuel Recipe

Understanding the choice of gasoline for petrol cutters AI-92 or AI-95

How many people, so many opinions, which applies not only to the choice of oil for the trimmer, but also gasoline. Similarly, in order not to make a mistake with the choice, it is recommended to use gasoline of the brand recommended by the manufacturer (indicated in the manual for the tool). However, everything is not so simple here, since at each gas station, the brands of gasoline are only called the same, but they have completely different composition. You need to figure it out and come to a common conclusion about which brand is better to pour gasoline into a two-stroke engine for your trimmer.

Manufacturers recommend using A-92 gasoline for their equipment, and some models require the use of A-95 grades, which do not contain ethyl alcohol. It is not recommended to use AI-90 and lower gasoline, as they will cause rapid wear of engine parts. When buying gasoline of one brand, you cannot be 100% sure that it corresponds to reality. The result is the following picture:

  • The manufacturer recommends pouring fuel into the AI-92 trimmer
  • The summer resident uses only gasoline of this brand, but buys it at gas stations, where the price is lower or where necessary
  • This negatively affects the internal parts of the engine, since at one gas station it is really high-quality AI-92 gasoline, and at the second. at best, if it is AI-80, not AI-76

As a result, the engine suffers, and after a couple of years of operation of the new trimmer, it becomes necessary to overhaul it. In order not to have to analyze the quality of fuel or buy only expensive gasoline, it is recommended to refuel at only one gas station. At filling stations, gasoline is only poured into metal cans, not plastic.

There are manufacturers producing special purified fuel for two-stroke engines. If this option is chosen, then you do not need to choose the best gas station, the brand of gasoline and control its shelf life.

How to choose trimmer oil or types of lubricants

Trimmers and brushcutters are powered by two-stroke engines, which have a simplified design. Rarely, there are trimmer models with 4-stroke engines that run on pure gasoline. Two-stroke power units do not have a compartment for filling engine oil (oil sump), thereby reducing the weight of the tool and reducing their cost. If the rotating parts of the motor are not lubricated, they will eventually fail quickly. To prevent this, the trimmer is not filled with pure gasoline, but with a mixture of oil. What oil to dilute with gasoline for a trimmer?

To begin with, let’s remember or find out what types of oils are produced in terms of chemical composition:

  • Mineral liquids. designed for low power equipment with air cooling. It is the cheapest type of engine lubricant.
  • Semi-synthetic substances. they are used for equipment that has air and water cooling
  • Synthetic. suitable for all types of motors with different types of cooling. They do not require frequent replacement, and this type of lubricant is several times more expensive than mineral and semi-synthetic

From the above it follows that oil with any composition is suitable for a trimmer. mineral water, synthetics and semi-synthetics. Oils with different chemical compositions differ in price, therefore, when buying, it is necessary to rely on the recommendations of the tool manufacturer. The instructions indicate advisory information on which types of oils are best to use. If this is the TC-W3 standard, then it is not so important what composition the substance should have. In this case, mineral water, semi-synthetics and synthetics can be diluted with gasoline.

How to properly fill the finished fuel into a two-stroke engine

Many do not follow some important recommendations for pouring fuel into the gas tank of a trimmer or petrol cutter, which ultimately leads to unpleasant consequences. Consider important recommendations on how to properly fill the brushcutter’s gas tank with diluted fuel from gasoline and oil:

  • Prepare a funnel or watering can. Despite the large diameter of the hole in the gas tank, very often when trying to get into it, some part of the fuel is spilled, which gets on the body of the tool. Fuel trapped on the tool can cause a fire when heated, so it is very important to use a funnel or watering can.
  • Before unscrewing the plug, thoroughly clean the surface of the tank, as dirt can get inside, which will cause a quick clogging of the gas filter
  • Fuel filling operations must be carried out in calm weather or in a secluded place to exclude the possibility of dust and small grains of sand getting inside the tank.
  • Do not leave the tank hatch open for a long time, as not only small grains of sand and dust, but also insects can get into it
  • Do not inhale gasoline vapors while filling, as they are dangerous to humans. When working with a trimmer, the master must use protective glasses, earmuffs and a respirator
  • It is necessary to pour fuel into the tank up to the mark. If you fill the tank full, then when screwing the plug, some of it will pour out. wasteful use of fuel. In this case, it is better to underfill than overflow.

Given these recommendations, you can significantly extend the life of the gasoline tool in question.

How to dilute gasoline with trimmer oil instructions with a description

To cut grass in the country or in the field, you will need gasoline trimmers. They run on gasoline, unlike their electric counterparts. How petrol with oil for trimmers, petrol and brushcutters are diluted, not many masters know. Step-by-step instructions for preparing the fuel mixture in the trimmer will be useful not only for beginners, but also for specialists who may be refueling chainsaws incorrectly.

Choosing oil for petrol cutters useful recommendations from professionals

If the instructions for the tool have been lost, and there are difficulties with choosing the right oil, then it is recommended to stop your choice on the following two options:

  • Semi-synthetic. they are cheaper than synthetics, but more expensive than mineral water. Suitable for equipment, both Russian and foreign. They have low smoke parameters, and adequately “take care” of the structural elements of the motor. Manufactured by ferrying petroleum products and hydrocarbons
  • Synthetic. expensive types of lubricants that are suitable for all types of equipment. If you use synthetics for your trimmer, then the engine of the tool will work like a clock.

When choosing and buying oils for dilution with gasoline, you may come across the fact that some letter designations are indicated on the cans. These designations are an API classification, which will be useful to find out who wants to fill the tool with a lubricant that is suitable for the parameters. Let’s consider all types of oils according to API classification for two-stroke engines:

  • TA. intended for air-cooled units with a volume of up to 50 cm3. Such techniques include mopeds, lawn mowers, trimmers and brushcutters. Optimal solution for petrol cutters and trimmers
  • TB. used for refueling engines of units such as mopeds, chainsaws, scooters and motorcycles. The engine displacement of such equipment ranges from 50 to 200 cm3. This type of oil is also suitable for trimmers
  • TC. intended for dilution with gasoline and filling in motorcycles, snowmobiles and other types of land equipment
  • TD. serves for refueling outboard motors, hydro scooters and boats

API classification is an American standard that is used in Europe. However, when choosing, there are additional designations on oil cans for two-stroke engines, for example, FA, FB, FC, FD and others. This is the smoke emission classification of oils developed by the Japanese JASO standard. If such designations are found on the selected oils for trimmers and chainsaws, then their decoding must be taken into account:

  • FA. used in countries where the legislation provides for the minimum emission of smoke into the atmosphere. Emits an imperceptible fog of smoke during operation
  • FB. Designed for use in countries where there are strict restrictions on the emission of smoke into the atmosphere. Virtually no white smoke
  • FC. smoke emitted into the atmosphere is transparent and invisible to humans
  • FD are smokeless oils for 2-stroke internal combustion engines that do not emit smoke, but still have improved chemical properties. They are usually used for mixing with gasoline and refueling boats, boats and yachts.

If the designation “self mix” and “pre mix” is present on the container with the lubricant, then they mean self-mixing with gasoline (the first option, which does not require shaking), and the need for forced dissolution (the second option).

Knowing the classification of oils by their types, it will not be difficult to choose the best option for your brand of petrol cutters. On the market you can find a variety of brands of oils for two-stroke engines, but it is better to pay special attention to such companies:

  • Stihl. produce mineral and synthetic, and semi-synthetic of this brand are rare
  • Shell Helix Ultra. Recommended by Specialists
  • Motul
  • Oleo mac
  • ECHO
  • Hammerflex
  • Lukoil is a Russian oil that costs 3 times cheaper than foreign analogues, but at the same time has excellent quality indicators
gasoline, trimmer, much, liter

Product are not indicated as vary. There are many other brands, and if you still want to find the perfect trimmer lubricant for yourself, then it is recommended to watch the test in the video clip below.

From the video, we can conclude that it is not always useful to buy expensive oils, since they may turn out to be of unsatisfactory quality, which can be seen in a real example.

Learning to dilute gasoline with trimmer oil if you overfill or overfill

If you bought a trimmer, a petrol cutter, a brushcutter, a chainsaw and other types of equipment, then you probably know that two-stroke motors are used as power units. These engines do not run on pure gasoline, like four-stroke engines, but on a mixture of gasoline and oil. In what proportion should gasoline be diluted with trimmer oil. every summer resident asks himself this question before preparing the tool for work. We will understand this issue in detail, since diluting gasoline with trimmer oil affects the service life of the tool, and improper preparation of the mixture will lead to rapid engine wear. What is the danger of excess or insufficient amount of oil in gasoline for a trimmer:

  • If gasoline is diluted with a large amount of oil (above the norm), then this will lead not only to the appearance of a large amount of smoke, but also to the formation of carbon deposits on the cylinder walls and a drop in power. This carbon deposit will cause piston wear, which will be diagnosed by a decrease in its performance.
  • If the gasoline does not contain enough trimmer oil, this is even more dangerous. After all, the working mechanisms of the engine will not be lubricated in sufficient quantities, which will eventually lead to their rapid wear (there is a rapid destruction of the piston rings and the engine jamming). With an insufficient amount of oil in gasoline, poured into the trimmer, engine wear will occur ten times faster

In order not to have to pay for mistakes with the cost of overhauling the engine or buying a new tool, it is necessary to fill the fuel of the correct consistency into the tank from the first day. You can find out the ratio in the instructions for the tool, since models from different manufacturers may give different recommendations. Usually this ratio is the following norms:

  • 1 in 25 or for 1 liter of gasoline 40 grams of two-stroke oil
  • 1 to 40 or 1 liter of gasoline 25-30 grams of lubricant
  • 1 to 50. this is 20 grams of oil per liter of gasoline

The standard value is considered to be 1 to 50 (indicated on cans of oil for two-stroke engines), but it is necessary to rely on it in the most extreme case, since the manufacturers indicate the recommended proportion value, and if it is not observed, then the service life of the two-stroke motor is reduced.

In addition to keeping the proportion, you also need to learn how to prepare the mixture. After all, the option of adding oil to the gas tank is categorically contraindicated, although some do so. If you bought a trimmer or a petrol cutter, then you will need consumables that you will use to prepare the mixture. Instructions for preparing the fuel mixture in the trimmer are as follows:

  • Prepare gasoline and two-stroke oil based on the above recommendations for the selection of lubricant and fuel
  • Additionally, to prepare the mixture, you need to take a container or container. Usually a plastic bottle is used for this, to the selection of which an appropriate approach is needed. It must be clean inside. It is not recommended to use a container for milk, beer and other drinks. The best option is a container of mineral water.
  • It is very important that the container has a whole volume value, that is, 1 or 2 liters, so that you do not have to calculate how much oil to pour into a 1.5 liter, 1.3 or 1.25 liter bottle, because you can easily make a mistake
  • You will also need a syringe, which is used as a measuring device for dispensing oil. For such purposes, a conventional medical syringe for 10 or more cubes is suitable. It is desirable that the syringe has an accurate measuring scale
  • After preparing the necessary materials, you can start cooking

Instructions for preparing a fuel mixture in a petrol cutter:

  • First you need to fill the plastic container. The container is not full 2 fingers to fit the oil
  • The required amount of two-stroke oil is drawn into a syringe, and poured into a bottle with collected gasoline. You need to do it this way, and not vice versa.
  • After adding a lubricant to the bottle, it requires you to close it tightly with a cap and stir. However, keep in mind that oils labeled “pre mix” need stirring. If the container with oil has the designation “self mix”, then you do not need to shake the container, and after combining the substances, you can pour them into the tool tank

After preparing the fuel mixture for the trimmer, it remains to fill the tool and start working. How to properly refuel trimmers, petrol cutters, chainsaws and other types of motor vehicles, we will consider in detail.

Trimmer Ready Mixed Storage Tips

After refueling the trimmer, many put aside the mixture in the bottle until the next time. Sometimes this next time does not come soon, and stretches until the next year. It is impossible to store the finished mixture for so long, as the oil decomposes. After preparing the mixture, it must be consumed within 1-2 weeks. In addition, it is also impossible to store the tool for a long time with the fuel mixture poured into the tank, since the effect will be the same. To prevent unforeseen circumstances, it is recommended to take into account the following recommendations for storing a ready-made gasoline-oil mixture:

  • Prepare the fuel mixture in the amount that will be used. If you do not know how much fuel you use, then it is better to cook less.
  • If a fuel mixture remains in the trimmer tank (when the tool is hidden until the next season), then it must be completely used up or drained
  • Before adding the prepared mixture to the tank, stir it thoroughly
  • Store the prepared mixture in a tightly curled container, as well as in a place limited to exposure to sunlight

Subject to all recommendations, the service life of the trimmer will be no less than indicated in the instructions. The use of high-quality consumables in pairs, observing the recommendations for preparing the mixture in the trimmer, will entail a long and effective service of the gasoline tool.

Which trimmer oil to choose?

When using a device such as a petrol trimmer, it is especially difficult to maintain it. When it comes time to change the oil, many do not know which oil to fill in the trimmer.

In most of these types of devices, oil is poured along with gasoline. Therefore, the owner must definitely know, using a trimmer, the ratio of gasoline and oil. In most cases, 20 g of oil is taken per liter of fuel. over, the higher the fuel quality, the lower its consumption.

4-stroke trim engines are also available. In such trimmer oils are poured into a separate container, which does not cause any particular difficulties. One of the main advantages of these devices is their low noise, which allows you to work without headphones. Trimmer oils with a four-stroke engine are marked 4T, which must be paid attention to.

What trimmer oils you need to use?

Today, there are few people left who use an ordinary braid on their personal plot. This “old-fashioned” method practically does not occur. And many already have no idea how to handle it, sharpen it and rivet it. With the development of technology, devices called trimmers have appeared.

There are two main types of such devices. These are gasoline and electric. From the name it is clear that their main difference is the power source. Each type has both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of gasoline engines is the absence of a power cord, which does not restrict the owner from moving around the site during work. The electric one needs a 220 V network for power supply. There is no way to do without an extension cord, which will constantly interfere and get confused under your feet.

A modern trimmer that runs on fuel, thanks to the presence of various replaceable heads, has turned from an ordinary scythe into a means of small mechanization with many functions. Having installed the appropriate nozzle, the owner will not be difficult to form a crown of shrubs on his personal garden plot. In the snowy winter, it can be used as a snow blower. The very replacement of the working heads of the trimmer does not take much time and can be done both with the use of a tool or without it.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Gasoline Trimmers

Thus, summing up the above, it is necessary to note the main advantages and disadvantages of gasoline trimmers. The pluses include:

The disadvantages include:

  • more weight;
  • the amount of noise emitted during operation is greater than that of electrical ones. Despite this, the number of petrol trimmers in summer cottages is only increasing.

Fuel solution preparation rules

Before starting work, you should carefully study the instructions. In no case should you do everything “by eye”. Each manufacturer adds its own components to fuels and lubricants, so it will be useful to familiarize yourself with its recommendations.

The basic rules for the preparation of fuel for petrol cutters with a two-stroke engine are as follows:.

  • Strictly observe the proportions when preparing the fuel solution. If the concentration of the lubricating component is insufficient, the piston and cylinder will become very hot, and the engine may fail under such conditions. Burrs appear on the cylinder walls due to overheating, which will subsequently require serious investments in repairs.
  • Do not add too much oil to the mixture. A large amount of it will lead to the appearance of additional carbon deposits and an early reduction in the engine resource. Removing defects is also expensive, as when saving oil.
  • Long-term. more than one month. storage of the fuel mixture is not recommended, as it begins to decompose and lose its basic properties. The prepared mixture can be stored for no more than 90 days, clean fuel is even less. about 30.
  • Carefully monitor the cleanliness of the combustible solution, protect it from the ingress of various debris and other contaminants, which may deteriorate the engine.
  • After completion of work, if there is a long break, it is better to drain the fuel mixture from the tank.

Before preparing the fuel mixture, you should take care of its safety in the future. It is better to store gasoline in a metal container; it is allowed to store fuel in plastic canisters specially designed for this. In no case should you store gasoline in plastic bottles: fuel enters into a chemical reaction with polyethylene and decomposition products, when they get into the carburetor, can disrupt its operation.

Fuel mixture preparation

Many mower manufacturers already supply special containers for gasoline and oil with graduated marks. But in order to more accurately mix lubricant and fuel, it will be better to use a syringe.

For operations for the preparation of a mixture of gasoline and oil, simple equipment will be required:

  • watering can;
  • a medical syringe or measuring cup;
  • a container with a volume of one liter;
  • oil suitable for two-stroke engines;
  • petrol.

First, using a watering can, gasoline is poured into a liter container. For the fuel solution, it will be correct to use the brand of gasoline that is indicated in the operating instructions, since fuel with a lower octane number can damage the engine.

Next, we collect oil, observing the proportion, and pour it into the fuel. Stir the mixture gently. the fuel solution is ready.

After adding oil to the fuel, the mixture acquires a special color, which in the future enables you to distinguish the ready-made fuel solution from pure gasoline.

You should not prepare the fuel mixture with a large margin. the manufacturers of petrol cutters do not recommend this.

A solution of fuel and oil must be stirred in such a volume that it is enough for one or two refueling.

Characteristics of misapplication

The use of a contaminated or improperly diluted solution often leads to serious malfunctions. To prevent this from happening, you need to carefully monitor some of the engine indicators:

  • rapid contamination of the fuel filter;
  • the appearance of dirt and various deposits in the carburetor, which will interfere with normal operation.

If the above signs are present, the mower engine must be serviced.

Oil quantity per liter of fuel

Two types of engines are installed on gasoline lawn mowers. four-stroke and two-stroke. There are significant differences between them. The first option has a separate supply of oil and gasoline, that is, there is no need to prepare a special fuel mixture. And the second type of motors requires constant lubrication of engine parts by mixing fuel and oil in a certain proportion.

If you have purchased a two-stroke engine mowing tool, you will need to prepare the fuel mix to refuel the mower.

The fuel mixture consists of gasoline and a special oil for two-stroke engines. When choosing an oil, it is advisable to use a lubricant from the same manufacturer as the lawn mower, but this issue is not fundamental.

The main thing is that the oil is of high quality, and not a cheap fake. in this case, you should not save.

You can distinguish oil for two-stroke engines from others by marking on the label. It also indicates the ratio in which to dilute the lubricant with fuel. When using good and quality oils, the dosage is usually: 1 part of oil to 50 parts of fuel, that is, 2% of the total volume of fuel. Some owners are confused about these proportions. In fact, everything is very simple.

If the label says 50: 1, this means that 100 grams of oil should be added to 5 liters of gasoline. In other words, for 1 liter of gasoline, you need to add 20 grams of engine oil.

Gasoline and Lawn Mower Oil Ratios

The introduction of lawn mowers on the market made it much easier to care for the grass on the lawns. Depending on the engine model, they are divided into 2 types: gasoline and electric. If you choose between these options, then gasoline is preferable, since it is much more mobile. it does not require wires and an electrical outlet.

In order for the brushcutter to help in maintaining the lawn for as long as possible, you need to carefully monitor its condition and carry out regular maintenance.

Applying the above recommendations, you can independently prepare a high-quality fuel mixture for a two-stroke engine. It will ensure the smooth operation of the gasoline lawn mower for a long period, as well as help protect the engine from major malfunctions.

You can learn how to change the oil in a four-stroke lawnmower in the video below.

Proportion of oil and gasoline for outboard motor

Two-stroke motors for a boat must be filled with a homemade solution of two types of fuel. To find out how much oil to add to gasoline for a trimmer or engine, you need to take into account the stages of equipment operation:

  • initial run-in. dilution 1:25 is required;
  • long-term work. 1:50;
  • short period of work. 1:40.

After the original packaging is opened, the properties are retained for six months, however, the manually prepared mixture is stored for no more than a month.

The manufacturer should always indicate in the instructions for the motorboat which solutions are suitable for a particular model. To find out how much oil to pour into gasoline for a trimmer or outboard motor, you need to familiarize yourself with the factory documents.

It is recommended to have a supply of mixture in a canister while sailing in order to refuel the engine if necessary.

Oil to gasoline ratio for two-stroke engines

Before starting work with the unit, it is necessary to prepare a fuel mixture. Regardless of what brand of gasoline is used, you must use one part of the liquid, mixed with oil.

Standard indicators when mixing compounds. 1 to 50

For five liters of gasoline, no more than 100 ml of oil is used. The exact amount is determined by the size of the equipment. Compliance with this ratio allows you to avoid the formation of carbon deposits on the motor elements.

It is recommended to use special measuring containers for mixing. After combining, the liquids should acquire a uniform shade: brown, yellow or red.

To store gasoline, you need to use special canisters, but not plastic bottles. Gasoline quickly eats away at plastic.

Gasoline and trimmer oil proportions

Regardless of what type of equipment you plan to use, you need to choose the right proportions and prepare the fuel mixture. The most common question: how to dilute gasoline with chainsaw oil and not be mistaken.

A suitable product must be purchased before filling the fuel tank. Unleaded fuel is best for gardening equipment. It is ideal for such mechanisms. Before buying fuel, you must study the factory instructions for the equipment.

It is recommended to fill the petrol brush or other equipment with a product with an AI-90 or 92. After it became clear how many liters of gasoline you need oil, the chainsaw is refueled and used as intended. It is best to purchase proprietary formulations of the API TB class. They are suitable for use at positive air temperatures.

When trying to figure out how much oil to add to your chainsaw gasoline, you should look at the average proportions. Most often, dilution is carried out at an indicator of 1 to 50.

Also, it is important to determine the total volume, then it will become clear how much oil to pour into gasoline for a chainsaw. For single work using special garden equipment, filling per liter is sufficient. If the tool is used regularly, then the average volume is 3-4 liters.

Powerful chainsaw consumes a lot of fuel

The principle of operation of a two-stroke engine

Each manufacturer of gasoline and fuel oils gives recommendations on the use of products. In order for the chainsaw to work at full power, it is necessary to determine the required proportions: 1:50 (oil to gasoline). how much it is, it is important to choose the correct ratio.

On the back of the package, as a rule, instructions for the use of fuel are attached.

The easiest way to find out how to mix 1:50 (oil to gasoline) is to use the data in the table:

How to find oil gas mix ratio for string trimmer and how to mix fuel

Proportion view The amount of gasoline, l Oil amount, ml
1:50 one 20
1:50 1.5 thirty
1:50 2 40
1:50 3 60
1:50 four 80

Before filling the equipment, you need to correctly calculate the amount of each product.

When buying equipment, you should study the instructions. in it, the manufacturer can recommend the best way to prepare the fuel mixture. For air cooled models a 1:40 mix is used. Equipment that uses synthetic oil is best suited for fuel diluted 1:50. It is necessary to select the desired option in each case for a specific device.

Work is carried out in high-quality and dense gloves

After the ratio of oil and gasoline for the trimmer is determined, you can refuel the device.

It is better to pour liquids into the tank in the fresh air, and not in the garage.

The correct proportion of oil and gasoline for two-stroke engines will help to achieve better equipment performance. Dilute the two types of liquids in different ratios. The Homius editors offer simple instructions for diluting technical fluids for those who have just recently purchased a device with a two-stroke engine.

How to prepare a fuel mixture. the rules and features of the process

Before you mix the oil-gasoline solution, you need to find out the exact proportions. The operation of any device, including a chainsaw, must be carried out exactly according to the instructions attached by the manufacturer. The technical document states how much oil to add per liter of gasoline.

To mix gasoline with trimmer oil, you need to study the characteristics of the device. If the distance between the pistons and cylinders is large, it is more difficult to maintain the normal operation of the mechanisms. Primary formulations are poured into a container for mixing gasoline and oil using a large medical syringe or any other convenient method.

To dilute gasoline 1 to 50, you need to know for sure how much will have to be filled.

It is not recommended to mix oil and gasoline in the fuel tank

Preparation of a mixture for processing a chainsaw

Before using the equipment, the proportions of gasoline and chainsaw oil are determined.

Before diluting gasoline with chainsaw oil, you need to prepare a special canister. Plastic and glass bottles will not work, and you should also not pour the product directly into the tank. To find out how much oil per liter of gasoline you need to pour into the trimmer, the easiest way is from the instructions attached to the equipment.

Fuel must be stored for up to one month. Then the mixture is oxidized, due to which its properties change.

The proportions of oil and gasoline for the fuel mixture specified by the manufacturers in the operating instructions must be observed. Chinese manufacturers most often indicate the proportion. 1 part oil to 25 parts gasoline, for Stihl and Husqvarna this proportion will be 1/50. When preparing a small volume of a mixture (up to 1 liter), it is very important to carefully measure the amount of oil included in the mixture. Even small miscalculations in the amount of oil can lead to serious inconsistencies in the mixture. In these cases, a medical syringe can be used for accurate dosing.
The preparation of the fuel mixture must be carried out in a clean container specially designed for this. (see figure 2)

Plastic cans for gasoline are always marked with the flame sign. It is very convenient to use a canister equipped with a spill-free refueling system (see Figure 3). The spill-free system has a valve that prevents fuel from spilling when the tank is full.

What oil is best for boat motors.

Also note that if these oils cannot be used to prepare gasoline for outboard motors. In 2t outboard motors, it is necessary to fill in a mixture prepared from gasoline with an octane number of at least 89 and ultrapure oil with detergents marking NMMATC-W3 in a ratio of 1:50 for the operating mode, and. 1:25 for the running-in mode (first 5-10 hours). The choice of high-quality oil is the basis of engine operation, therefore, each manufacturer recommends pouring certain brands of oil into the equipment, thereby guaranteeing the longest service life of the product. So for outboard motors (both 2t and 4t) tohatus, the service center recommends using German motul oils or American quicksilver. Use only quicksilver engine oil for mercury outboard motors. For honda outboard motors, the most preferred brands are motul and statoil.

How to mix (dilute) gasoline and oil for 2t engines.

Let’s summarize the above. Use oil for your branded appliances that has been developed or recommended by the manufacturer of that technique. For example, for Stihl FS 55 brushcutters, Stihl HP oil (see Figure 1a) or Stihl HP SUPER, for Husqvarna 128R brushcutters, use Husqvarna HP oil (Figure 1b) or Husqvarna LS. For 2-stroke engines, do not use 4-stroke engine oils. e.g. 10W30, SAE 30, etc.
