Tempted to bite since my old mower died right at the end of the year, cleaned the carb but I think the connecting rod went since there was a clunk and the pull feels light and floppy now.
Reviews seem terrible though. Bad engines? Not much that can go wrong on a push mower apart from the engine, and when it does its cheaper to just buy a new mower than take it I or spend hours troubleshooting.

It's a Honda engine, and i've heard nothing but good things about hondas. I just ordered one, but I'd be interested in reading more reviews.

Most lawnmower/gas engine issues are carb related. My neighbor pointed out there are tons of Chinese carbs available on Amazon. If you want to save some cash, you could always try to find one that fits your lawnmower and either try changing it yourself or pay someone to just change it which I would think being a 15-20 minute job, should be cheaper than diagnosing and fixing your existing issue.

Used it all summer without any issues.
The bag fills quickly but we did have a lot of rain this year.

Does it has the muchimg from the side? Like cut the grass until timy pieces and spread back to the lwn..sorry not sure what is the right term to describe
Ok, I caved. Thanks OP. From the pics it doesn't look much different than the poulan pro mowers that are stocked at Costco, probably MTD made too. Lots of plastic on those, but hey. Also don't care for self propelled, so this is a win for me.
This is replacing my current craftsman eager 1 4.5hp. I'll play around with the old one if I have time

It's call side discharge and it doesn't state that it has it in the description.
