Description Hilti DD 500 operating instructions
Diamond core drilling machines DD 350 or DD 500 with DD HD-30 are intended for wet drilling of mineral materials with diamond core bits using a drilling rig (no manual drilling is permitted).The base frame must be used for all work.Use anchors, a vacuum plate or a quick-release device to fix the base frame firmly to the material to be machined.Do not make any changes to the tool, its base or accessories. Use only Hilti original accessories and tools to avoid personal injury or tool damage.

Efficiency at its best: Simply connect the autofeed module to the diamond drill rig DD 350-CA or DD 500-CA and press the start button. Take care of other tasks while the tool makes different drilling decisions on its own. With Cut Assist as a virtual assistant, you will never have to work alone.
High efficiency high productivity
The DD AF-CA automatic feed module communicates directly with the DD 350-CA or DD 500-CA from the beginning to the end of the hole. At the first press of the Start button, Cut Assist recognizes the surface and moves the drill bit to the base material, automatically turns on the water, adjusting the water flow independently throughout the drilling process, while the easy-drilling function ensures a smooth start of the drill bit. Built-in metal-passing mode provides additional torque when driving through reinforcing bars. The automatic feed module immediately detects changes in the characteristics of the base material and adjusts power, water flow and bit feed to ensure optimal performance, even in the most extreme conditions. When the hole is drilled, the DD AF-CA automatic feed module automatically stops the drill motor, turns off the water and removes the core bit from the hole.
Do more work in less time! The DD AF-CA automatic feed module allows other tasks to be performed in parallel while the DD 350-CA and DD 500-CA continue to operate independently.
