  • Find a suitable TORX bit. The ideal sprocket should not go through the slot in the hex hole, but should not be too big for the hex. For connecting rod bolts made of steel, there are only two ways:

  • Call in the help of an electric welder. Use an electric welder to reattach any hexagonal socket to the torn-off fastener that you don’t need anymore.
