This type of snow removal equipment is placed on a tractor, mini loader, chassis. It is equipped with a special plow, with built-in two or one rotor. The rotors have blades that are mounted in opposite directions and are screw shaped.

A snow blower is designed for the same purpose as an auger snow blower. to de-burrow snow and throw or load it. Such a machine can overcome drifts of up to 3 m and throw snow to a distance of up to 20 m.

Description and construction of a snow thrower for a power tiller

The base of the skis is made of wooden bars, to which the plastic plates are attached. In this case, boxes from the electrical wiring are used.

As the main part of the turning chute, which throws the snow is a piece of plastic pipe with a diameter of 160 mm. A chute, which throws snow, is attached to this pipe. The width of the auger blade should be less than the diameter of the trough, so it will be thrown snow.

To construct the frame we use metal angles 50×50 mm. Cross bars 25×25 mm are welded to them. A quick-release engine platform is mounted on them. Cross brackets and handle are attached with M8 bolts to the frame’s longitudinal brackets.

In this case, we used this principle of snow thrower operation. It doesn’t need wheels, only for moving around the barn. Therefore, instead of the wheels, skis are installed, which allow you to sweep snow from the tracks when the snowblower tilts forward. If you tilt it back, the snow can be shoveled off in stages, in case of a small snow cover. In the future, you can upgrade to a self-propelled snow thrower with one wide track without having to redo anything.
