- The narrowing of the winding to the handle (the rear cone) is made in the ABS spool from Dive, which increases the casting distance, and most importantly. greatly reduces the possibility of dropping loops, as well as “beards” when fishing with jerking. Spinning, twitching, jigging and jerking, such a winding of fishing line on the reel is simply required. Also use this winding on a braid with a diameter smaller than 0.2 mm. From cone winders, direct winding gives similar results.

Winding experiments

I carry out the working winding completely by hand. I form a reverse cone from the first turns and adhere to a similar profile at all stages of winding. As a result of such an approach, after casting, your reel will automatically stack the forest according to a given profile when winding.

Although, you need to caution that as a result of all these rewinds, the fishing line spins and often requires unwinding. The main thing is that the coil should have an anti-tightening roller of the forest layer. And in front of the feeder a swivel was tied. Such a pair will untwist any twist level automatically, practically, for a couple of casts.
Fishing line winder
Consider the device for winding fishing line. It consists of the following elements:

We knit the fishing line on the spool with a self-tightening knot, and then we tighten the knot, we wind it up clockwise, we hold the reel with fishing line in one hand, we hold the central hole in the other hand, we take a drill in the other hand and, adjusting the speed of the cartridge, we wind it.

We fill almost the entire spool, leaving a bead of 1.35. 2.35 mm, with a denser winding of the forest it can sometimes slip off the spool. With such winding, twisting of the fishing line does not occur. On the water, the fishing line looks aesthetically and evenly, and it serves in this case much longer.
