The mower does not start petrol reasons

The petrol lawn mower will not start. Why?

Will not start after winter

In this case, you just need to drain the old and, possibly, even frozen fuel and fill in the freshly prepared mixture. Then you need to perform the same manipulations as during the first start of the lawn mower.

The lawn mower will not start

If at the first start, your new lawn mower refuses to start, try the following: based on the air temperature outside, set the appropriate position of the air damper (at temperatures less than 30 C. “damper closed”, over 30 C. half-closed position), then pump into the carburetor fuel and gently, but rather sharply, pull the starter handle until you feel some resistance. Repeat these steps in the same sequence several times. A brand new instrument must start. If this finally happened, you can safely get down to work, having previously fully opened the damper.

If the lawn mower is no longer new, then it is necessary to start its inspection from the gas tank. If the device has not been in operation for a long time, then it is necessary to drain the old gasoline, which has the feature of “running out”, i.e. lose their octane properties, and refill with fresh fuel mixture. The gasoline / fuel ratio, as well as the required grades, are usually indicated in the operating instructions for the tool.

Now you need to check the spark plug. either the problem is in it itself, or in the fuel system. The candle must be carefully unscrewed and its condition assessed. If the candle is heavily flooded or there is black carbon on it, then it must be removed, cleaned and dried. Drain the excess fuel, if any, from the spark plug holes, drain the cylinder itself, then screw in the dried or, even more desirable, a completely new plug. If the plug was initially completely dry, you need to look for a problem in the fuel supply system. First, check the fuel filter. To do this, disconnect the suction hose and remove the dirty filter from it, clean it and reinstall it, or replace it with a new one. If this does not help, you should contact the service center specialists.

Starts up and stalls

If the mower stalls after starting, check the air filter. When this filter is heavily clogged with dust, it stops passing the required amount of air into the carburetor and allows dust to enter the fuel mixture. It is necessary to carefully remove the contaminated filter, clean and rinse in gasoline. If the air filter is clean, and the tool still stalls, then it is better to contact a professional to determine the cause of the malfunction and eliminate it.

the lawn mower will not start, the spark is gone

The loss of a spark entails checking the contacts and the correctness of the gap between them, the conducting wires to the candle and the candle itself.
The way to check the spark is to unscrew the candle, connect a wire to it, put the candle sideways to the motor casing and pull the starter several times as if starting the lawn mower, while you need to look at the coal and the contact of the candle, a spark should run between them.
If there is no spark, take a new candle, do the same procedure, if even the spark is not traced, then there is a problem in the wire or contacts, it is better to replace them.

the lawn mower won’t start after winter

In such cases, the unit must be serviced. Remove the fuel system, including filters (air, fuel), disassemble the carburetor, clean and rinse each unit. Blow out the filters with air. Pay attention to fuel quality and octane number.

It should be borne in mind that products of such well-known companies as Stihl, Husgvarna and other brands will not run on cheap, low-octane gasoline.
Suitable fuel for them is from the AI brand. 92 and higher from car gas stations and then from well-recommended ones, since there is also bad gasoline at gas stations. The use of high-octane and high-quality gasoline will determine how long the lawn mower will be used and how long it will last.

It is necessary to take into account one more fact that when the diluted fuel mixture is stored for a long time, its working qualities fall, which also leads to consequences in which the lawn mower does not start. Therefore, it should be diluted in portions, that is, the amount of the mixture that is produced at a time.
The operating instructions clearly describe and explain the mixing ratio of gasoline and oil. Strict observance of the correct proportions will at least save you from several questions, why the lawn mower does not start and what to do in such cases.

My Lawn Mower Has Spark & Gas But Won’t Start

the lawn mower starts and stalls. What to do?

There is a spark, and everything seems to be normal, but the lawn mower will not start, in such cases, you should check the air inlet valve to the fuel tank. A clogged valve leads to the creation of a vacuum in the tank, in which the carburetor does not receive enough gasoline, so the lawn mower will start, but then stall. To exclude this cause, you need to clean the valve and try to start the lawn mower with the tank cap not completely twisted.
2. If this does not start the mower, remove and clean the fuel filter and check all carburetor parts and then try to start. The lawn mower will not start again, the air filter is disconnected, try to start without it, if the mower starts up, the reason is in the air filter, replace it.

The lawn mower will not start or will start but stalls. What is the reason?

To understand this, you need to know the principle of operation of the unit as a whole. It also happens that, just bought, a new saw does not start, and the running around the service centers begins, in such cases it is recommended:

carefully read the instruction manual;
study in detail the method of first starting and running in lawn mowers;
try to understand the principle of the product;
how gasoline is pumped up and so on.

Causes of malfunctioning lawn mowers:

the quality of the gasoline is poor;
incorrect proportion of gasoline and oil;
clogging of the fine filter;
the spark was gone.

the lawn mower will not start on a cold

When starting a cold engine, it is not recommended to press the gas. Tilting the mower so that the air filter is on top, press the fuel suction button 5-6 times, set the function switch lever to the “start” position, pull the starter cord several times until the engine starts. After a few seconds of running the motor, turn off the starting system.

the lawn mower will not start when hot

If the lawn mower was recently in operation and has not yet had time to cool down but does not want to start. press the gas trigger, pull the starter cord sharply several times until the engine starts and only then the gas trigger is released. If enough time has passed and the lawn mower has cooled down, then it is necessary to start it as if it was cold.
If the above methods did not help, the lawn mower did not start, then you should contact the service center.

The first is the candle

The first step is to unscrew the candle. If it is wet, the ignition system is faulty. Try to wipe off the spark plug, put it in the cap, attach it to the engine, pull with the starter. Is there a spark? If not, then you need to change the candle.

Replacing the spark plug didn’t help? Then you need to watch the magneto, cable, ignition coil. The cable is dialed, the coil is checked for resistance (the multimeter is in the resistance measurement mode at 200 Ohm, one contact is for ground, the other is to the output of the coil, it should show from 0.4 to 2 Ohm).
Sometimes the magnets on the flywheel get dirty, or the key is licked off, and the ignition moment flies away. Chinese shit throws up all kinds of surprises, but for the most part everything can be revealed visually.

Be sure to pay attention to the plaque of the candle. If it is black, the candle is smoked, then the mixture is rich, or you have mixed the fuel incorrectly. If the plaque is white, it means that the mixture is poor, and the engine could already die of temperature. Ideally, the color should be brick, light, without much plaque.

Again, if the black candle is dead, you should not immediately sin on the carburetor and ignition. Screw in a new one, see what the plaque will be. Maybe the candle was just of poor quality.

Everything whole, clean, works?

Trying to adjust. We take a long screwdriver, find the idle speed adjustment bolt (it is located on the throttle valve), twist it a couple of turns so that the damper opens slightly. We start. Does it work smoothly? Then let’s move on. Doesn’t it start or stalls? Opens the damper until it starts up stably.

Then we adjust the quality of the mixture with screw L. It is necessary to achieve maximum idle speed. Here the principle is reversed. the more the bolt is unscrewed, the richer the mixture. After that, the quality of the mixture is adjusted at maximum speed with the screw H.

If the carburetor adjustment has not yielded fruit, then it needs to be disassembled. Watch the membrane, clean the jets and internal passages. For this, it is necessary not only to have a repair kit, but also, preferably, a spare carburetor.

Diagnostics and reasons why a two-stroke lawn mower will not start. Quick return to life of Chinese and domestic lawn mowers and ways to fix carburetor breakdowns.

It happens that a two-stroke motor does not even show a flash in the cylinder, but sometimes it catches it and immediately stalls. Don’t be sad, this Chinese commodity can be repaired right on the knee with a minimum of tools.

Before starting diagnostics, you need to make sure that the motor rotates with little resistance. If there is no compression in it, then further is useless, and you need to change the piston (there is nothing complicated about this either, everything is like a designer).

The second is the carburetor

It is not necessary to disassemble the unit right away, especially if the engine stalls after starting or does not keep idling. Try changing the fuel first, it may have an overabundance of oil. You can inject the purifier into the air filter, let the motor “shit” a little at maximum speed.

Next, we go in order. the air filter, the fuel filter (it can be outside and in the tank), the fuel pumping button, the integrity of the hoses. Gas tank cap. the ventilation valve may be clogged, the motor simply does not pump gasoline. Purge everything. and it will work!

Be sure to. look at the connection of the carburetor to the intake manifold! Elsi sucks air there and there is no tightness. eliminate!

The dosing needle hangs up. also a problem in some models. It is enough to push it down, or remove and grind it with velvet.

You can pull off the hose from the carburetor, see if fuel goes to it when pumping. It is clear that often for checking you need to remove the plastic sheathing, break your fingers on the latches, but anyway, sooner or later you will have to climb there.

What is the resource of the Chinese lawn mowers?

A Chinese or Russian lawn mower is capable of working about 500 hours. But this is with the right mixture, good oil, good factory assembly. If a person pours gasoline from one good gas station, precisely measures the same oil in a beaker, regulates the carburetor for the same mixture, the fuel burns correctly, then the longed-for half a thousand hours of motor life is quite an affordable bar.

But here we must also not forget about the Chinese marriage. They even balance the shafts on the knee, install the cheapest bearings, and stamp the carburetors with clogged channels. If a person understands the principle of operation of a two-stroke engine and a carburetor, understands how to sort it out, then he can eventually assemble an almost perfect trimmer.

In general, if we consider a Chinese lawn mower as a space for creativity, then even its breakdown is a reason to learn something new, this is a constructor for a man.

If you need a tool, then you should look for a Japanese analogue, or switch to an electric model.

Cuts grass poorly

If after mowing the grass looks clumpy, then the reason for this is always the same. a dull knife, which must either be sharpened or replaced.

In this case, it is necessary to take into account the manufacturer’s recommendations, because not all knives can be sharpened, especially at home, so if it is recommended to change the knife in the operating instructions, then do not experiment.

An improperly sharpened knife quickly dulls and loses balance, which can lead not only to vibration, but also to rapid wear of the engine bearings. If the knife can be sharpened, then do it as described in the previous section.

Engine won’t rev or keep revving

The most common reasons why the engine is not picking up speed are:

  • incorrect position of the choke lever or breakdown of its drive;
  • dirty air filter;
  • faulty manual accelerator control system.

At home, without special equipment and skills, you can only check:

  • condition of the air filter;
  • operation of the air damper drive lever (only on those models where the air damper position is manually adjusted);
  • a manual accelerator control system, that is, a special lever on the folding handle and a cable connecting it to the carburetor.

Checking the condition of the air filter and flushing it is described in detail in the mower’s operating manual, and we examined the check of the throttle position regulator in the previous section.

To check the manual accelerator control system, you need to set the lever to a position where the engine speed will correspond to that required for mowing, then mark its position with a marker and, after waiting for them to decrease, compare the position of the lever relative to the mark.

If the lever matches the mark, then the problem is much more serious and you need to contact the service, if the lever has moved, then you need to replace it.

Some inexpensive Chinese devices are supplied with a factory defect, including an incompletely assembled air damper actuator or its incorrect adjustment.

If you know how to eliminate such defects, then you can do it yourself, if not, we recommend that you immediately contact the service center so that the mower can be repaired under warranty.

Many modern lawn mowers are equipped with automatic speed control, so they can only be diagnosed in a workshop.

Engine won’t start

There are quite a few reasons why the engine does not start:

  • empty fuel tank;
  • clogged air filter;
  • muffler clogged;
  • the ignition switch is in the wrong position or defective;
  • the choke lever is in the wrong position;
  • faulty candle;
  • broken or clogged carburetor.

Most common problems

The most common faults are:

  • the engine will not start;
  • the motor stalls arbitrarily;
  • the engine does not pick up speed or does not keep it;
  • immediately after the start of mowing, the engine speed drops and it stalls or works intermittently;
  • smokes heavily;
  • goes badly;
  • does not stop even after the operator releases the wheel drive lever;
  • shakes violently;
  • does not cut the grass well.

Doesn’t stop

This happens in two cases:

  • the cable connecting the wheel drive bracket and the bearing squeezing out the belt is seized or sour;
  • the adjustment of the wheel drive cable is out of order.

The cable starts to jam if stored improperly or when mowing wet grass frequently, when moisture penetrates into the braid and corrosion forms there.

To check and eliminate such a malfunction, you must first pour plenty of WD-40 liquid inside the cable and wait 2-3 hours, then pour 1-2 ml of engine oil there.

It is advisable to carry out such maintenance annually, regardless of the cable jam, only the volume of oil must be reduced by 2–3 times. This will protect the inside of the braid and the core from moisture, which will help the cable last much longer. If this does not help, then it is necessary to adjust the actuator as described in the operating instructions.

Motor stalls randomly

The most common reasons why the engine stalls during operation are:

  • dirty air filter;
  • dirty fuel filter (only for models with a fuel filter);
  • faulty ignition switch (does not fully open the ignition circuit);
  • damaged insulation of the ignition cut-off wires;
  • faulty air damper drive;
  • the tightness of the ignition coil is broken or its winding is broken.

The initial inspection is carried out in the same way as described in the previous section. If everything is outwardly normal, then they carefully inspect and feel all the wires suitable for the switch that blocks the operation of the ignition system, perhaps the insulation is damaged somewhere and, upon contact with the bare metal of the case, a short circuit occurs, extinguishing the spark.

If the insulation of all wires is not damaged, then the wires are disconnected from the switch and the engine is checked. normal operation without spontaneous shutdown indicates that the switch must be replaced, if the problem persists, then the search for its causes continues.

For further verification, the air is washed and the fuel filters are changed, and the operation of the air damper drive is checked. when it is closed, its speed should fall, and the sound of the engine should also change greatly.

If all these actions did not help to find the cause of the problem, then its source is dirt in the carburetor or injection system, this happens when working on poor gasoline.

To cope with such a problem at home, you need special equipment and the skill of repairing fuel systems. If you do not have such equipment and skills, it is better to contact a specialized workshop.

The mower emits a lot

The reason why the mower smokes may be due to the following:

mower, does, start, petrol, reasons
  • gasoline prepared for two-stroke engines was poured into the fuel tank, or it was stored in an oil container;
  • the air damper position regulator is faulty or is in the “Off” position;
  • too high oil level;
  • the mower, filled with oil, was stored vertically.

To check the gasoline, it is drained, then obviously clean fuel is poured, corresponding to the octane number, after which the engine is started and the grass begins to mow. If after 5-10 minutes the gasoline lawnmower has not stopped smoking, then the problem is something else.

If the smoke has disappeared, then it is advisable to replace the spark plug, and in the future, more carefully approach the choice of fuel for the lawn mower.

If the air damper drive is in good working order and its lever is in the “On” position, then it is necessary to check the oil level, if it is above the “MAX” mark on the dipstick, then the excess oil has pushed through the oil seals and now the grease enters the engine.

In this case, it is not enough just to pump out the excess oil, because the oil seals are already pressed, which means that the mower will begin to actively consume oil, which, burning in the engine, forms dark smoke.

Therefore, it is advisable to contact a specialized workshop, where they can check the condition of the engine (oil entering the cylinder negatively affects many of its parts), and also replace the crushed oil seals.

If the lawn mower was stored with oil filled in and in an upright position, then you need to contact the service to replace the oil seals and revise other parts, as well as read the operating instructions more carefully and observe the rules for storing the machine outlined in it.

Why the gas generator won’t start?

Over time, even the most reliable and high-quality equipment can malfunction (the gas generator does not start for reasons). The gas generator is no exception. There can be many reasons for this.
Most owners begin to panic and seek help from specialists, but in fact, some malfunctions can be fixed on their own, so to speak at home.
In this article, we will tell you what reasons may be due to what not
gasoline power plant starts up, and how can this be dealt with.

There may be several reasons why the gas generator does not start.
So, let’s consider the possible reasons why the gas generator does not start at all, or why when it starts, it immediately “stalls”.
The three main components that keep a carburetor engine running are gasoline, air and spark. You probably already guessed that we need to check these three devices, which are necessary for the engine to work properly.

Lack of gasoline in the tank

The owner of the gas generator may incorrectly calculate the required volume of fuel or simply forget to fill the fuel tank.
First, you need to check the path (through which fuel is supplied to the carburetor).
Secondly, the gasoline mixture may be outdated, that is, which has lost its octane properties.
What can be done? Pour fresh mixture into the fuel tank and try to start the generator again.

It is important to remember that there is a tap on the pipe under the gas tank. So, you need to carefully monitor that it is open.

Fuel hose

Need to check if it is leaking? If it leaks or becomes unusable, replace it.

No spark.

The generator may not start because there is no spark.

What to do?
First you need to unscrew the candle, check its condition, the presence of a spark, if necessary, replace with a new one.
In the event that the candle is filled with a fuel mixture, it must be unscrewed and dried.
Carbon deposits on the candle. clean it with an awl or needle, the electrodes can be cleaned with sandpaper. If there is a strong carbon deposit, then replace it with a new one.
Dry candle. this means that there is a problem with the fuel supply to the cylinder.
If there is a spark and the generator does not start, most likely there is no fuel in the carburetor.
Another reason why there is no spark is the possible sticking of the oil sensor.

If there is no spark, pay attention to the oil level sensor

Learn more about the oil sensor and the oil itself.

Air filter

The next possible reason why the generator does not start. the air filter may be dirty. An unclean filter prevents the passage of the air required for fuel combustion.
What can be done?
Remove it, rinse it or clean it thoroughly, dry it, then reinstall it.
Important to remember! When starting the device, the air damper must be in the “closed” position.

If the engine fails to start, then we check the fuel system.

A little about the fuel system

Causes of fuel system malfunctions:
– fuel does not enter the float chamber;
– fuel has lost its properties during a long idle time.
What can be done?
1. You need to find the drain screw on the carburetor float chamber,
2. Then, using a small container, drain some of the fuel from the float chamber.
3. Make sure that fuel enters the float chamber.

If none of the above helped, then you should contact experienced specialists at our service center by phone: 063 202-90-70 097 023-42-42. Most likely, the cause of the malfunction of your gas generator is in the carburetor, and this is already the work of professionals. Our specialists will be able to accurately identify the causes of malfunctions and eliminate them in a short time.

How to follow the startup procedure correctly
1. First you need to turn on the generator using the key or button to the “ON” position;
2. Then open the top tap;
3. Close the choke on the carburetor;
4. It is necessary to abruptly (it is a prerequisite), pull the manual starter or electric starter.

It can be concluded that if you monitor the cleanliness of the air filter and spark plugs, do not start the power plant under load, close the air damper of the generator, leave the fuel valve open, then these simple rules will allow you to extend the life of your gas generator.

Checking the fuel mixture

Before starting the engine of the gasoline streamer, check the presence and quality of the fuel mixture. Do not save, do not be greedy and do not be clever in this matter. Repair or replacement of the piston group will cost you too much (sometimes up to 70% of the cost of a new tool). Prepare the oil-fuel mixture strictly according to the instructions. Calculate its amount based on real needs. Excess gasoline left over after work loses its quality over time.

How to start diagnosing lawn mowers

If the lawn mower does not start or immediately stalls after starting, it is necessary to sequentially check all the main components and assemblies. The verification algorithm is as follows:

  • Fuel tank (fuel quality);
  • Candle and candle channel;
  • Air filter;
  • Fuel filter;
  • Breather;
  • Exhaust channel.

These nodes are most often the source of major problems that can be eliminated after a thorough inspection.

Why the lawn mower won’t start. troubleshooting

Caring for the personal plot, summer residents periodically encounter the fact that the lawn mower does not start. There are many reasons for tool failure. To correctly diagnose the problem, the owner of a useful unit in the country needs to know the device and the principle of operation of its individual parts.

  • How to start diagnosing lawn mowers
  • Checking the fuel mixture
  • We carry out diagnostics of a candle and a candle channel
  • Filter diagnostics for lawn mowers
  • Breather and exhaust port
  • complex reasons for lawn mowers failure
  • Rules for the operation and storage of lawn mowers

We carry out diagnostics of a candle and a candle channel

If the quality of the fuel mixture is not in doubt, and the lawn mower stalls when started, then a flooded spark plug may be the cause. Here, for repairs, an ordinary candle wrench is suitable (every motorist probably has) and a spare candle.

  • We unscrew the candle and wipe it;
  • Dry it thoroughly (it is not necessary to ignite it);
  • We drain the excess fuel in the chamber through the spark plug hole and dry it;
  • We clean the old candle from carbon deposits using a file or a lady’s file;
  • We set a gap with a distance of 1 mm (you can check with any coin);
  • We put everything back in place and try to start the trimmer.

It is necessary to dry the canal for at least 30–40 minutes. Otherwise, there is a risk of re-filling and a new candle.

If the candle is working, the socket where it is located is completely dry, and the lawn mower does not want to start, lubricate the threaded connection with gasoline. It should be slightly damp. No matter how wonderful a spark the candle gives out, there is simply nothing to light up in a dry chamber.

If the trimmer motor still does not start, you should exclude such a reason as the absence of a spark due to poor contact between the spark plugs and the high-voltage wire. If the connection is of good quality, and there is still no spark, most likely, your ignition unit has “flown”. Here it will not be possible to do without a master, since the part is not repaired, but is sold as a single unit.

Filter diagnostics for lawn mowers

Another reason why the gasoline scythe stalls is the air filter. To eliminate it, try removing the filter and starting the trimmer without it. If it works out, then you will have to change the air filter to a new one, or at least blow through and thoroughly clean the old one.

The petrol trimmer may not start if the fuel filter is dirty. This is the next step in our algorithm. Here we check the condition of the filter element and, if necessary, replace it with a new one. When replacing, try not to leave the suction inlet without a filter at all, this is prohibited by any operating instructions. Haste can turn into repair of the engine piston group.

complex reasons for lawn mowers failure

If the step-by-step troubleshooting algorithm does not work, and your scythe still does not start or stalls, it is worth inspecting the carburetor and the engine itself. A clogged carburetor can be one of the reasons for erratic tool performance. There are three main problems here:

  • Clogged ducts or nozzles. All this is cleaned by special washes or blown by a powerful jet of compressed air from the compressor. Do not use needles and wires, as the bore may be damaged;
  • Worn carburetor gasket. Exit. replacement of a failed gasket;
  • Violation of tightness. To check this indicator, you can use an ordinary household tonometer, replacing it with a suitable pressure gauge. Watch the readings: if they do not change, everything is fine, but if the pressure starts to drop, then some part of the carburetor is faulty. We’ll have to find it and replace it with a new one.

If everything is in order with the carburetor, then the gasoline trimmer may not start due to wear of the piston group. If chips, scratches or scuffs are found on the piston or cylinder, they should be replaced. Piston rings are subject to mandatory checks. A small backlash of the piston when rocking the connecting rod indicates that it is time to change the rings. This procedure is best entrusted to the specialists of the service center.

mower, does, start, petrol, reasons

Breather and exhaust port

Often, “gentle” branded lawn mowers will not start and stall due to a dirty breather. The main function of this element is to equalize the pressure in the gas tank. When this unit becomes clogged, a vacuum is created in the tank, which prevents the supply of fuel. You can eliminate the malfunction by cleaning the breather. You can use a regular needle for cleaning.

Normal operation of streamers with internal combustion engines can be disrupted due to the ingress of dirt into the exhaust duct or clogging of the muffler mesh. There is such a problem on older generation models. The issue can be resolved by traditional cleaning and removal of the anti-spark grid.

What to do if your petrol lawnmower won’t start?

The most important point when using any equipment is to comply with the basic rules of operation and its timely maintenance. This approach will ensure that your petrol lawn mower works properly and for a long time. But nevertheless, sometimes unforeseen situations happen, and for some reason the device does not want to start. In our article we will tell you about the possible causes and ways to fix this problem.

Faults that you can fix yourself

When your petrol lawnmower won’t start. first of all, it is necessary to check the presence of fuel in the tank. If it is missing. top up to the desired level. Often, when the device is not used for a long time, gasoline “runs out”, so it must be completely drained and refilled with new. This procedure must be done carefully so that fuel does not get on the engine, as this can lead to further ignition (when the engine heats up). Which gasoline is better to use, you can find out from the technical passport of the device.

In order for the unit to start, you need to pump fuel with a primer (if available in this model) into the carburetor and set the maximum speed. You need to start the technique carefully. The starter cord must be smoothly pulled out until it stops, then pull it towards you with one even sharp movement.

A problem can occur if the air damper is not correctly positioned during the first start. Depending on the air temperature, it is completely closed or set to the middle position (above 30 C). Then it must be fully opened.

Check the air filter for dirt. To do this, turn off the machine and disconnect the wire from the spark plug. Unscrew the cover and remove the filter. Rinse it with gasoline and dry it thoroughly, or simply replace it with a new one. Remember that it is recommended to change the air filter after every 25 hours of operation.

Another reason your petrol lawnmower won’t start could be a faulty spark plug. Perhaps she was just flooded with fuel. In this case, unscrew it, clean it and check for a spark. It may not be present when the spark plug is filled with fuel. Place choke control handle (if equipped) in the CLOSED position and start the engine. If this does not help, it is better to seek help from a specialist.

Try to constantly inspect the bottom of the machine, as any damage to it may cause the engine to stall.

If your petrol lawn mower started up normally but stopped working almost immediately, it is likely that the crankshaft or piston is stuck. Another reason may be an insufficient amount of oil in the crankcase. We recommend that you manually move these parts and check the oil level with a special dipstick, you may be able to correct this problem.

However, remember that the replacement and repair of all faulty components and elements should be entrusted to professionals from authorized service centers. Never do it yourself.
