Motorized cultivators are usually equipped with a 3–6 hp gasoline engine, and their weight starts from about 20 kg.

Sometimes they are equipped with gearboxes, so it is possible to work with attachments: wheels with grousers, plows, hillers. Although in terms of processing quality, they are still inferior to walk-behind tractors.
Motorized cultivators pay off in small areas and in greenhouses. For such conditions, they are preferable to walk-behind tractors, since there is no need for intensive work and deep plowing, and their price is much lower.
