Two riding lawn mowers, 9 power washers stolen from Tractor Supply
than 10,000 in merchandise and power equipment, including two Cub Cadet zero-turn, riding lawn mowers valued at 3,200 each, were stolen from the Tractor Supply store in Frenchtown Township Wednesday night.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office that investigated the break-in, the theft occurred at the store, 2492 N. Telegraph Rd., between 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday morning. A manager at the business told deputies that when she came to work Thursday, she found three chains used to secure the parking lot and building cut, including one chain used to secure a fenced-in area where the mowers were stored. Also missing were a silver 2016 utility landscape trailer worth 6500,000 and nine power washers valued at 450,300, a deputy’s report said. Investigators want to question three former employees who were recently let go by the business, the report said.
Catalytic converters stolen from vehicles
Five vehicles stored at two venues close to each other in Bedford Township had their catalytic converters stolen recently, deputy’s reports said.
Four of the vehicles were stored at a residence in the 7000 block of S. Telegraph Rd. The vehicles ranged in age from 1993 to 2001. The owner told deputies he returned from a vacation in April and discovered the converters missing when one of them sounded very loud after starting. He had plans to scrap the vehicles before he left. The fifth vehicle – a 1994 recreational vehicle – was vandalized at the Bedford Mini Storage located at 6500 S. Telegraph Rd. The vehicle belonged to an Erie resident. There are no suspects in the case, the reports said.
Woman’s purse stolen at Stoneco Park
The woman told deputies she parked her 2010 Yukon about 7:50 p.m. in the park at 7100 Whiteford Rd. When she returned to the vehicle about 20 minutes later, the purse that also contained her driver’s license, social security card and debit card was missing. The thief gained entry to the vehicle by breaking a rear passenger side window, a deputy’s report said. There were baseball games taking place and the lot was full of cars, the report said.

Beginning Monday, March 9, Toro mowers are available at all Tractor Supply locations and online at TractorSupply.com. This product launch follows a partnership announcement last fall between the two companies.
The Toro brand joins an outdoor power equipment lineup that also includes Cub Cadet and Bad Boy Mowers at Tractor Supply.
