I want to use Automower at my summer home, too. Will it work at two different locations?
Yes. If you buy two charging stations and two loop wire cables, you can have two separate installation sites and use the same Automower in both locations.
Automower ’s built-in safety features mean the blade will automatically stop if the mower is lifted up or turned over. Plus, it stops and turns around when it encounters an obstacle.
The distance between Automower ’s outer body and the blade is extra-wide, which prevents hands or feet from reaching the blades accidentally. However, for guaranteed safety, we recommend turning off the mower when small children are playing on the lawn. Even though Automower operates on low power, you could nick or cut a body part that came into contact with the cutting blade.
Does Automower have a theft alarm?
Yes. Automower has several theft protection systems that may be activated. The mower cannot be used without the personal PIN code. The installation lock prevents it from functioning on any other installation other than your own. The time lock requests your four-digit PIN to be entered at an interval decided by yourself. The alarm requires the PIN code to be entered when it is stopped – or an audio alarm will go off. In addition, GPS communication units include a GPS tracker available as an accessory for most models.
Is Automower dangerous to cats and dogs?
No. Pets typically leave Automower alone. The mower is equipped with sensors so that when it runs into an object such as a pet, it will stop, reverse direction and choose another path. If Automower does collide with a pet, the contact is light and unlikely to cause any harm.

STOCKHOLM. Oct. 13, 2022 /PRNewswire/.- Early next year Husqvarna, the global leader in forest and outdoor products, launches its first virtual boundary robotic lawn mower for private gardens. Husqvarna’s satellite navigation system enables the robotic mowers to work within virtual boundaries, making it easy to decide where to cut, when and at what height, without the need of a traditional boundary wire. Husqvarna Automower NERA comes in three different models that cater to lawns from 2200 m2 to 5000 m2. Installation, defining work areas and stay-out zones can easily be managed through the Husqvarna Automower Connect App.

This recall involves the Husqvarna-branded Automower 435X AWD and Automower 535 AWD robotic lawnmowers, both of which are powered by lithium-ion batteries. The robotic lawnmowers freely and automatically cut grass by detecting the signal of a perimeter cable. The mowers have a docking station for recharging. The 435X model is gray with orange on the wheels, and the 535 model is orange and gray with white wheels. The Husqvarna logo is painted on the front of the lawnmower and the model number is located on the top.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled lawnmowers and download the free software update that Husqvarna Professional Products is pushing to the recalled units. Consumers with units having more than 1,200 charging cycles will also receive a free replacement battery. Husqvarna Professional Products is contacting all known purchasers directly.
The firm has received five reports of batteries overheating, including two reports of fires. No injuries have been reported.
