Husqvarna Mower Drive Belt Problems and Its Solution
Since 1947, the Swedish company Husqvarna has offered great mowers. And the drive belt part is a crucial component of Husqvarna Mower. If it doesn’t function accordingly, you will face different problems with your mower.

How To Adjust Belt Tension On A Husqvarna Lawnmower

Park the mower in an even and plane location and access to its underside. Use a lawnmower lift if possible. Don’t tilt the mower. Otherwise, the engine oil can come off.
Disconnect The Spark Plug
You may wonder why you should do this. It is for preventing the mower from the accidental start. The spark plug is placed on one side of the combustion chamber. Unplug them.
Now you should look for the log lever. It should be at the control panel’s top area. On the end of it, there is a paddle handle.
Rotate that log lever by holding the handle away from you to engage the blades.
If it takes 2-3 seconds instead of 0.5 seconds to operate, the belt is loose. Pull the lever back to engage the blades.
The blades should move if you did the 3rd step properly. Check if it worked.
Now you have to do the opposite of the 3rd step. Push the lever away from the steering wheel. It will loosen the belt.
Check the blades again. If you did the previous step properly, the blades should stop moving.
