We may also exchange information, including Personal Information, with other companies and organizations for credit fraud protection and risk reduction.
Service Providers and Vendors. We may also share your Personal Information with certain third parties that perform services for CPO. Those third parties may host the CPO Sites, operate certain features on the CPO Sites, print or send mailings, provide marketing materials for the CPO Sites, authorize and process your payments, provide customer service, analyze data and assist in fulfilling your orders, send emails on CPO’s behalf, or otherwise assist CPO with the operation of the CPO Sites. The CPO Sites are considered to be general audience Sites and are not to be used by children. In addition, we currently contract with several online partners to help manage and optimize the CPO Sites. To do this, we use Web beacons and cookies provided by our marketing company on the CPO Sites. The type of information we collect includes which pages are visited, which products are put into the shopping cart, which orders enter the checkout process, which checkouts are executed with payment, etc. By supplementing our records, this information helps us learn things like what pages are most attractive to our visitors, which of our products most interest our customers, and what kinds of offers our customers like to see. Although our marketing company manages the information coming from our sites on our behalf, we control how that data may and may not be used. Security
CPO and authorized third parties employ reasonable measures, including administrative, technical, and physical measures, to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, use or disclosure. For example, any Personal Information you enter when you place an order for a product, including, without limitation, your credit card and other Personal Information, is encrypted before transmission to CPO Sites servers by using Secure Sockets Layer 128-bit encryption, if supported by your browser. In addition, we use reasonable measures to limit the disclosure of your Personal Information consistent with this privacy policy. However, your Personal Information can never be 100% secure: information may be transmitted over networks without appropriate security measures and may be accessed, deleted, altered, used or disclosed by unauthorized persons. You can help us to protect your Personal Information by (i) not sharing your password or other account information with others, (ii) using a secure web browser, and (iii) changing your password frequently.
CPO reserves the right to retain any Personal Information reasonably necessary to appropriately document its business activities and for archival and record retention purposes. We will store your Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy. How should I reattach the blade to my Sun Joe mower?
How to attach the blade to my Sun Joe electric wired lawn mower? I may be missing a bolt or screw. The picture shows the mower, the blade and a cap which fits. But if I just put the cap, it will come off.
What is the purpose of that heavy washer with the hex inside? Looks like the hex fits onto the head of the bolt.
@dandavis, these are all the parts that I have 🙂 I understand that I need to remove the bolt. But the hole on the blade is bigger than the bolt. Not sure how it will stay in. Also with the bolt in place. fact that blade came out means the blade hole was bigger. What do you think ?

The central bolt and washers in the correct order are used to hold the blade to the mounting plate. The pins on the mounting plate, some of which may be broken in your case, fit into the off center holes on the blade so that the bolt need only keep the blade pinned to the plate and the pins support the torque. Inspect carefully. If you have missing or broken pins, your mounting plate or mower need to be repaired or replaced.
I discovered that Sun Joe no longer sells the needed replacement parts for this model. This is the reason why I decided to fix it this way.
I used two stainless steel washers and a nut (from Home Depot) to replace the original plastic nut sitting behind the washers. I needed a pick to help me route the zip ties after I drilled two holes on the plastic back plate. The zip ties replace the function of the damaged pegs which use to hold the blade in place. The bolt should be tight enough to hold the blade in place so the zip ties should receive little stress during operation.

Sun Joe Lawn Mower Reviews
Sun Joe is an outlier among lawn mower brands in that it’s less than 15 years old, does not (as of this writing) offer a riding mower, and all the company’s dozens of models are designed with minimal environmental impact in mind. Sun Joe mowers are made by Snow Joe, which was founded in 2004 with the mission of producing high quality snow blowers that would retail for less than 100. 5 years after launching they expanded into lawn mowers and the Sun Joe imprint hit the market in 2009.
Sun Joe mowers are designed with 21st century environmental concerns in mind, so you won’t find any gas powered mowers. What they do offer is a dizzying array of cordless and corded push and self-propelled mowers that are typically durable, effective and reasonably priced. In our Sun Joe lawn mower reviews we’ll see if these mowers live up to the considerable hype surrounding them.
Our Sun Joe Lawn Mower Reviews
As I mentioned, Sun Joe is an offshoot of Snow Joe. Snow Joe is an American company founded in 2004 with the stated mission of making affordable snow blowers for the masses. Through a clever marketing campaign that leveraged giveaways and social media the Snow Joe snow blowers were an immediate hit. Just 5 years after launching their affordable snow blowers, Snow Joe branched out into lawn mowers, which they sold under the name Sun Joe.
But Sun Joe mowers weren’t just any mowers. These were (and are) environmentally friendly electric mowers that are powered either by Hyper efficient lithium batteries, or by cord. As was the case with their Snow Joe snow blowers, the company leveraged the power of social media to spread the word about their mowers, and held contests on to raise awareness and create buzz (with the winner getting a Sun Joe mower).
Last year in the midst of the pandemic, Sun Joe announced they were expanding their distribution and customer service center in Salisbury, North Carolina. It was a bold move that demonstrated their confidence in their product and their ever-growing US customer base. The new, expanded facility will create an additional 100 jobs at a time when they are sorely needed.
Where are Sun Joe Lawn Mowers Made?
While Sun Joe gets a thumbs up for investing heavily in a new distribution center in North Carolina, the key phrase here is “distribution center”. In other words, this will be where they receive shipment of their mowers when they arrive from Snow Joe’s factory in China. From North Carolina they will be distributed throughout the US.
The fact that Snow Joe builds its mowers in China should not really come as a surprise to anyone who’s paying attention. After all, it’s pretty tough to design and build a snow blower entirely in the US and offer it for sale at less than 100, which was the company’s stated mission when it was founded.

A similar trend continues on Snow Joe’s website, with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars generated from 21 reviews. None of these reviews dipped below 3 stars, with 71% being a perfect score.
The prevailing opinion of the Sun Joe MJ401E-PRO 13 throughout its many user reviews is that it is slightly unusual, but incredibly effective for its price. According to reviews, the process for adjusting the cutting height is a bit difficult and sometimes slips back into lower positions.
Many high rating reviews comment on the product’s maneuverability and power for its size. Its ease of use is also praised. One 5 out of 5 stars review in particular was written by a first time mower, who found the simplicity incredibly appealing. average 3-star reviews mentioned that the product is great value, but the 14-inch blade width does not quite cut it for them.

If you are looking for a lightweight mower that you can move around with no issue, the Sun Joe MJ401E-PRO 13 is the mower for you. Its small but mighty 13-amp engine gives it enough cutting power to handle some surprisingly tall grass in yards no bigger than a quarter acre.
Of course, the fact this mower is best for quarter acre lawns does have its downsides. Even for small gardens, this 14-inch blade is quite small, and will mean more effort is needed than with a 20-inch wide blade.
