They should be connected in pairs, the larger with the smaller, with the help of bolts, and on each disc secure four knives at equal distances from each other. They must rotate freely, for which purpose a gap of about 1 mm must be left between the blade and the surface of the disk. It remains to insert the sleeve into the drum, and fasten it to the frame.

On the frame, you need to install a crossmember from an iron corner 35 by 35 mm. The side parts of this corner need to be cut to the same 35 mm so that you can screw in the M5 bolts. The drums are connected with a conveyor belt, for which the corners must be provided with grooves 13 mm wide. The lower hub of the drum is mounted movably, and special tension corner parts are attached to the upper ends of the drums. They are tightened to the ends of the transverse angle with M5 screws with a length of 6.5 cm. The design, as a whole, is quite understandable. Conveyor tape can be made of a strip of thick rubber, which is connected to a ring with an aluminum plate 2 mm thick.

Rules for connecting mowers with tiller and their use.

To get a full-fledged self-propelled mower and rowing machine for hay, you need to connect everything with the tiller properly. Since any of the above devices is designed to work at high speeds, any inaccuracy can lead to the destruction of the unit. In this case, the drop-down parts and their fragments fly out with great force like fragments of an explosive device. Therefore, when connecting the mounted unit with the tiller, the latter must be kept in reverse mode, and any of the connections to its power take-off shaft should be made by installing the connecting unit of the unit in the tiller hitch socket.
A protective cover must be installed on the mower knives, and additional weights must be removed from the tiller wheels.
Grass mowing must be done at the lowest speed, and the clutch must be engaged. In motion with the mowers on, in no case should you make sharp turns.
