Diaphragm is often deformed (and sometimes torn) because the brushcutter or weed trimmer runs continuously for several hours. If you overdo this “shock” mode of operation, damage to the diaphragm occurs more often. New failures will pop up as from the horn of plenty:
- the piston will break;
- the number of unsuccessful engine start attempts will increase dramatically;
- The fuel mix will contain too little gasoline;
- the effective (thermal) power will drop sharply.
Adjustment lever seizing up due to faulty installation, unintentional bending. The contact cam will not be in the correct position. This will cause the petrol pump to fail to pump more gas.
Throttle and air flaps become unusable because of dust, metal particles, etc. in the air flow. д. Damaged flaps look like parts that have been blasted with sand. Worn throttle valves reduce engine efficiency and cause breakdowns. The piston and cylinder will wear out.
The filter may not be compatible with your brushcutter or trimmer model. The shaft of the engine will eventually be damaged, pieces of it will get into the channels of the engine and the piston will be broken.
If the adjustment is too rough (no exact setting), the springs on the adjusting screws are to blame. The manufacturer of the brushcutter or grass trimmer may have supplied springs that are too thick and stiff.
