If you find that the tool does not start at all and stalls, then you do not need to rush immediately to the service center, you can try to solve the problem yourself.
We consistently check each system:
- Fuel tank. Perhaps there is not enough fuel, or it is of poor quality.
- The following spark plugs and high-voltage wire fall under the test. Note that the clearance of the spark plug does not normally exceed half a millimetre.

Sometimes the saw stalls at idle, and clogging the silencer is a common cause of breakage. It can be easily cleaned by yourself, it does not need a high specialist. In addition to cleaning, there is another option, but we treat it very carefully so as not to harm the internal parts of the device.
To adjust the carburetor, you need to find two bolts with the letters L and H. The last one needs to be turned, a little bit, only half a turn. He is responsible for the revolutions of the tool and, if necessary, raise the idling speed.
Often powerful chainsaws stall from the load. Most likely, you have a fuel filter clogged, and it needs to be replaced. If this does not help, then you need to check the quality of the fuel mixture and prepare a new one.

Filters are often clogged, especially when the chainsaw is running almost daily. The air filter can be disconnected and washed under running warm water. Before you put in place. dry thoroughly. If after disconnecting the fuel hose from the carburetor fluid does not flow out of it, it means that it is clogged. It can be cleaned or replaced with a new one.
With frequent use of the tool, a gasoline pump can fail. After all, every detail has its own shelf life. It should be replaced or contact the service center.
In a horizontal position, the fuel tube is at the bottom of the tank, but if the tool is tilted, the fuel will not be able to cover it completely. This is what causes the chainsaw to stop working when tilting, as the tube levitates in the air and does not receive the right amount of the mixture.
If you notice that the chainsaw starts without any problems without warming up, and after warming up it stalls. And do not start it until it cools, here, perhaps a few issues.
First, perhaps somewhere there is a suction hose, stuffing box or gasket. Secondly, inspect the silencer for the presence of soot. The third reason is the cylinder-piston group (CPG), whether there are no scuffs or irregularities.
Sometimes a carburetor setting is required. Another important cause of a malfunction is the ignition coil. In cases when it fails, the spark is lost or becomes very weak, which is not enough to ignite the fuel mixture.
There are cases when the master tries hard, the engine, then on the cold, then on the hot, thereby pumping fuel. Here you need to pull yourself together, transfer the damper to the “hot start” and gradually start the tool. At the same time bring down the speed to almost idle level and 40-45 seconds, it warms up.
Here you need to adjust the carburetor and check whether there is a powerful air suction.
