Which way the angle grinder disc rotates

Safety engineering

Violation and non-observance of safety measures will lead to serious injury. Therefore, before starting work, you must carefully study the instructions, remember and follow. It is a violation of safety precautions to work without protection and to saw on yourself. It’s just beyond comprehension. The stand should be the correct legs bent at the knees, the angle grinder slightly to the side.

An angle grinder is a work tool that can be dangerous. The unit must be positioned towards you, with the heel. The head should never be on the mowing line of the cut. And in this regard, it is correct to saw with sparks from yourself or under a person, that is, into the legs, because:

  • You can see where the sparks fly,
  • The likelihood of catching a lawsuit or sawdust in the eye decreases, even when working with glasses, it can fly.
  • When the disk expands (this happens), the fragments go away from themselves, and not onto a person.

Before work

While moving on to direct work with the tool, some preliminary preparations should be made:

  • You should not work with any power tool (not so much with an angle grinder) being unhealthy, tired or in a state of alcoholic intoxication. the loss of clear control over the body leads to negligence in actions, the lack of the required reaction speed, and the lack of coordination of movements.
  • Indispensable components of safe work with an angle grinder are closed safety glasses (preferably reinforced) to reliably protect the eyes from the ingress of sparks flying along an unpredictable trajectory, as it is also called scale, and in addition, a protective cover that guarantees no sparks in the working fragments of the processed material.
  • In person, be sure to wear gloves or work gloves made of thick leather.
  • Work clothes should not be wide, nor should they restrict movement. Which way should the disc of the angle grinder rotate. In which direction do you have, and when biting a circle, the angle grinder of course should not be on you. Its parts should be carefully tucked in and no hanging or dangling elements: strings, fringes, etc., which could tighten under the moving disc of the instrument, should be avoided. An angle grinder should lie comfortably and securely in your hand, how to properly cut metal with an angle grinder. In which direction should the disc of the angle grinder rotate and. When working with stony materials without organized stone dust extraction, a dust mask should be used to avoid respiratory problems.
  • The tool must be fully functional, do not use a deformed or damaged working disc, the use of which could cause kickback.

How to hold an angle grinder while working

The correct grip of the angle grinder will largely ensure competent and safe work with the tool:

  • The handles of the sander must be firmly gripped with both hands, without shifting its center of gravity to either one. With a secure grip, even in the event of a kickback, there will not be a serious displacement of the tool, and even more so it will not be pulled out of the hands.
  • The power cord must be kept away from the rotating blade: catching it will create a short circuit and a sudden stop of the tool, possibly resulting in kickback.
  • the cutting line should be positioned in such a way that the angle grinder goes to the master, moreover, the person should not be in the plane of the possible expansion of the disc. In this case, the direction of sparks is possible both away from the master and under him. everyone decides for himself. When after work I will look in which direction that the disc may be in the wrong direction. In which direction should I have a small angle grinder dwt, the cutting point should be from. There are no options for left-handers. when you grip an angle grinder, the sparks will go “under yourself” in the only convenient way for a left-hander. In general, the angle grinder should be very much to exclude the emission of sparks and fragments to the side. And an obligatory rule. there should always be a bucket of water nearby to extinguish a fire possible from sparks.
  • It is forbidden to put the tool anywhere until the rotation of the working disc is completely stopped, otherwise objects and planes not intended for processing may be caught.
  • If you need to move the angle grinder from one place of work to another, you should turn it off, since any careless movement of the master (tripped, swayed, fell) can lead to unpleasant consequences: injuries, capture of foreign objects, clothes, etc.
  • The working disk heats up significantly during work, and, of course, you should not touch it until it cools completely.

Cut from yourself

When the angle grinder is set to rotate clockwise, cut the material away from you. If you cut on the contrary, the grinding machine will jam, this will damage the disc.

The main disadvantage of this method of work is that sparks and dust fly to the cutter. If they cut brick or concrete, wear a respirator, otherwise the airways will become clogged with dust. Clothes are carefully buttoned to reduce dust getting under the clothes.

When cutting metal, a sheaf of sparks flies towards the worker. This could cause the workwear to catch fire. The cuffs on the sleeves and the tops of the trousers are tightly tightened to prevent sparks from hitting the skin.

The main argument used by self-cutting advocates is safety. If the disc is bitten, the angle grinder pulls out in the opposite direction from the cutter, which means that the likelihood of injury decreases.

Important. To change the direction of rotation of the disc, turn the protective casing 180 degrees. Twist the handle into the hole on the back of the gearbox. Everything is carefully twisted and checked.

Serviceable tool

Before work, check the working condition of the tool. The cable and plug from the angle grinder must be undamaged, otherwise a short circuit or electric shock may occur during operation. This is dangerous as the hand can jerk in any direction.

The guard for the angle grinder must be firmly tightened. The cover is installed in such a position that sparks do not fly into the face and clothing. Therefore, in the beginning, the direction of the sparks is determined and the protection is established.

The handle on the gearbox must be intact without cracks or chips, so that it does not break during cutting. It is screwed in tightly so that there is no backlash.

Precautions must be taken to prevent the angle grinder from causing serious injury. Everyone chooses how to cut for themselves or from themselves. The main thing is not to lose concentration while working. In this case, the tool will become a good helper for solving construction problems.

“Angle grinder”, as the craftsmen have long nicknamed the tool designed for cutting and grinding metals, stones and other materials, the angle grinder. The use of this tool is quite common both in construction and in agriculture and at home, for various kinds of domestic machinations. The car received such a name among the people because of the country of the manufacturer, as it is not difficult to guess Bulgaria.

Recently, the question “In which direction should the sparks fly from the angle grinder” has caused a real stir. And the fact is that people answer in different ways, and referring to their own personal experience. But if we talk not about experience, but about how to do it right. Then you need to carefully study safety and operating technology.

Necessary security measures

The main thing when working with an angle grinder is safety. It does not matter which way the sparks fly, if the safety precautions are not followed, it will lead to serious injury.

Angle Grinder Precautions:

  • a safe place to work;
  • individual protection means
  • serviceable tool.

Cut on yourself

When the cut-off wheel rotates counterclockwise on an angle grinder, the correct cutting direction is towards you. Otherwise, the angle grinder will jam and the disc will fly apart.

The disadvantage of this method is the risk of injury. If the blade is bitten, the driving force throws the tool towards the cutter. Failure to hold the angle grinder firmly can result in serious injury such as deep cuts or severe bruises.

Therefore, with this method of work, complete concentration is required, the hand is resting on the stomach and the movement of the disc is controlled. If the machine starts to work with tension, this is a sign that you need to be careful.

The advantage of the self-cut method is that sparks and dust fly in the opposite direction from the cutter. This does not mean that you do not need to take precautions, but in the case of dust there are fewer problems.

The gearbox of the angle grinder, when it is set for threading on itself, is from the side of the cutter, it is less likely that overalls will wind on the disc. But this rule applies to those who have the right hand. For left-handers, adjust the angle grinder individually.

Important. After the disc bites, it is difficult to unscrew the retaining nut. To do this, a nut-sized washer is cut out of thick paper or thin rubber and inserted between the disk and the clamp. Even if the disc is seized, the nut is unscrewed without gouging or heating.

which, angle, grinder, disc, rotates

Which way should the disc of the “angle grinder” rotate??

Usually the disc rotates counterclockwise (when viewed from the side of the disc), sparks fly forward, but recently, in a pipe warehouse, I saw that the cutter’s disc rotates in the opposite direction, sparks fly under the feet. He has to cut a lot and every day. Therefore, the question arose. how is it right?

I found 3 similar photos on the net (without bloody guts). But everywhere the angle grinder is set with sparks on itself, as luck would have it! But if you have a little logic, then you will understand where the dask should rotate so that the angle grinder is faster in your belly when you lose control.

Sparks from yourself. ease of work, whole pants.

I agree that sparks flying into the leg and hot metal particles flying into the boot do little to clean and even cut. It is especially offensive when, in a fit of construction passion, I wanted to cut something “a little” and forgot to change my synthetic pants. Thanks for your feedback! There is another advantage of this method. metal and abrasive particles hardly get inside the angle grinder. The insulation of the motor windings wears out less. the tool lasts longer. The effect is very extended in time, but it is there. Almost all angle grinders have at least two handle positions, so no prohibitions are laid down constructively. If you are interested, I am an adept of sparks on myself. An angle grinder is a very tricky tool. I am a strong guy, almost 100 kg in weight, but the angle grinder was also torn out of my hands. Once I made a vertical cut in a hard-to-reach place, the protective cover was removed. The car did not go from the exchange, but flew off perpendicular to the wall. that is, into my head. Fortunately, I was working in a gas mask, the blow fell on the intercom. Otherwise, the nose would have to be found in the dust. The viewing of video clips “the disc of an angle grinder is scattered” is excellent. Sometimes I revise them to maintain tone. It can be added that the spread of the disk by sparks from oneself can be safer than towards oneself (of course, when using a casing). On the other hand, I recently had to work with an angle grinder with sparks from myself. It was uncomfortable, unusual, and particles of stone and metal somehow got into my face ricochet, or something.

Now the promised advice:

Correct tool feed can reduce disc consumption of the angle grinder. When working with sparks on yourself. the cut must be done on your own. When working with sparks from yourself. the cut is done on yourself. The case is in the shape of the bottom edge. which is formed when cutting through metal. It is very sharp. When the disc is fed to it, the consumable experiences additional wear, each time hitting the sharp part (red).

  • the cutting line should be positioned in such a way that the angle grinder goes to the master, moreover, the person should not be in the plane of the possible expansion of the disc. In this case, the direction of sparks is possible both away from the master and under him. everyone decides for himself. There are no options for left-handers. when you grip an angle grinder, the sparks will go “under yourself” in the only convenient way for a left-hander. And an obligatory rule. there should always be a bucket of water nearby to extinguish a fire possible from sparks.

  • The working disk heats up significantly during work, and, of course, you should not touch it until it cools completely.

Kick back

The most common and dangerous moment of working with an angle grinder is the occurrence of kickback, which is characterized by an instant and very sharp throw of the tool towards the operator. The force of impact is so great that it is simply impossible to hold an angle grinder in your hands. this is especially dangerous if the work is carried out at head level. Kickback injuries can be severe enough to be fatal.

The kickback can be caused by the use of a non-working (deformed or damaged) working disc and / or its jamming in the material. Very often, the kickback occurs at the final stage of the cut, when it remains only to finish the last layer of material that connects the cut parts. In this case, it is recommended not to finish the cut from the same side, but to execute it on the other.

Safety precautions to prevent the occurrence of a kickback or at least minimize its consequences for a person contains several simple rules:

  • It is unacceptable to use accessories not intended for the angle grinder:
  • a circle with a larger diameter, since to install it, you will have to remove the protective cover and, during use, there will be an excess of the linear speed of the cutting edge;
  • a saw blade completely unsuitable for the rotation speed of an angle grinder. a hard-alloy soldering that has flown off from his tooth at a cosmic speed can become a fatal bullet for a careless master.
  • The operator must stand firmly with both feet on a firm and level surface to resist the impact energy.
  • Be extremely careful when handling sharp edges, material edges, and any corners. It is necessary to be prepared for a possible kickback of the angle grinder and the body to move away from the intended place of defeat as a result of a return impact.
  • If the working disc is stuck, turn off the angle grinder and remove the cutting disc from the cut.

Safety precautions and understanding of the principles of working with an angle grinder guarantees high-quality performance of the tasks set without any injury or harm to human health.

Work technology

The direction in which the sparks fly depends on how familiar a person is with the technology of working with an angle grinder.

  • The first is the grip. You need to hold the unit firmly with both hands, without transferring the weight to any one hand. In a kickback situation, with the correct grip, there will be no pulling out of the hands.
  • The line should be laid out to the side away from the rotating disc, but not next to or on the mowing line of the cut.
  • The direction of the sparks can be chosen both away from the master, and under him. the main thing is not on yourself. However, left-handers do not have to choose, the only possible option is the direction of sparks “for themselves”.
  • When working with an angle grinder, there should be a bucket of water nearby as a precaution against fire.
  • The tool cannot be put off anywhere while the disc is rotating. Naturally, when moving from one place to another in operation, the angle grinder must be turned off.

The conclusion of the direction of the sparks from the angle grinder depends on the master, to choose from either himself or for himself.

“Angle grinder” is a simplified name for an angle grinder that has long become popular. It is used everywhere: in construction, and in agriculture, and in private household work. Designed for grinding and cleaning surfaces of various kinds, for cutting metals of any thickness, stones and other materials. This power tool got its unofficial name thanks to the country of origin. Bulgaria.

Inappropriate safety precautions make the angle grinder an extremely dangerous tool, therefore, the rules specified for working with it must always be strictly followed.

The principle of operation of the “angle grinder

What this machine is, firstly, the main working part is a disk. Sawing and grinding discs are different depending on the material with which you need to work. The very process of operation of an angle grinder, this is the movement of the nozzle disc at high speed, the disc has serrations, so you can cut the necessary material, and in a situation of violation of safety precautions, get wounds and cuts.

Before work

Before proceeding with direct work with the instrument, some preliminary preparations should be made:

  • You should not work with any power tool (not only with an angle grinder) being unhealthy, tired or in a state of alcoholic intoxication. the loss of clear control over the body leads to negligence in actions, lack of the required reaction speed and uncoordinated movements.

  • Always wear gloves or work gloves made of thick leather on your hands.
  • Work clothes should not be wide and at the same time should not restrict movement. Its parts should be carefully tucked in and no hanging or dangling elements: strings, fringes, etc., which could tighten under the moving disc of the instrument, should be avoided. When working with stony materials without organized stone dust extraction, a dust mask should be used to avoid respiratory problems.
  • The tool must be fully functional, do not use a deformed or damaged working disc, the use of which could cause kickback.

How to replace disc blade Ryobi Angle Grinder

Angle Grinder Disc Rotation Direction

I have been repairing power tools for eight years, during this time I have heard so many terrible first-hand stories from the owners that God forbid. Including about pieces of a disk in the neck. The last example: a man doesn’t take his instrument from repair for a long time, several months, when I call him on the phone, I don’t understand what he’s saying. Finally it appears: there is no voice, there is a terrible scar on the neck. He worked as an angle grinder without protection, then everything is clear. Saved by the fact that he worked in the immediate vicinity of the regional hospital, did not have time to bleed, everything was sewn up, but damaged the ligaments forever.

The disc is placed the way someone’s hands are sharpened.

Which way should the “angle grinder” disc rotate??

The disc on the left and, accordingly, the rotation towards oneself is a consequence of the fact that during work instinctively put the right hand forward, holding the gear knob with it. The same goes for shoveling. Whoever holds a shovel works as an angle grinder. Although with an effort of will, you can force yourself to change your hand. Because I work with my left hand forward (disc to the right, rotation away from myself), then, of course, I think this option is the only correct one: rolleyes :. Pros:

The sparks fly away without harming me or the angle grinder. When they work with sparks on themselves, they are sucked into the engine by the fan and over time all the windings begin to blush with pure uninsulated copper, as if someone rubbed it with sandpaper on purpose.

When biting, the angle grinder jumps out of the cut straight into my hands. You just have to always remember that you have a car with a power of several horsepower in your hands and hold these animals with a firm hand. According to the working conditions, of course, you have to turn the angle grinder, if you don’t get close to it in another way, but I always return to the usual option.

When working with an angle grinder, I try to avoid deep cuts. It is better to cut the corner in two steps, cut the shelves in turn. I cut the channel in three steps, first the core then the shelves. thus avoiding accidental pinching of the tool. A cut in thick metal sometimes has to be cut, deliberately widened by cutting in two steps, especially if the cutting zone is inconvenient and unintentional skewing of the disc is possible. I outline the cutting line in thick metal immediately and cut it by 5-7 mm, cutting the edges of the cut. when cutting, avoid cutting with a package; displacement of the stack is fraught with skewing of the lower layers. Two elements of spatial structures should not be cut when the disc cuts two elements spaced apart from each other at the same time; with a thin disc, the cuts of the comut turn out to be non-parallel (not coaxial).

The disk rotates around a fixed axis according to the law.

Angle Grinder Safety

Safety when working with an angle grinder is extremely important when working with this tool. Of course, any tool requires careful attention, be it a jigsaw, a hammer drill or an electric screwdriver.

However, an angle grinder, or, as it is “scientifically” called, an angle grinder (angle grinder), requires this attitude doubly. Why ?

The angle grinder is the most traumatic power tool. The disk, mounted on the spindle, rotates at a speed of up to 13 thousand revolutions per minute. Circular blade protection, as, for example, with a circular saw, does not have a cut-off machine. If the disc is skewed, the tool can be pulled out of the hand, and the bounce path is impossible to predict. The circle can break into fragments, which scatter at speeds up to 360 km / h. long distances. All these factors make the angle grinder perhaps the most dangerous handheld power tool.

Why does it rip discs and how to avoid it? Sometimes, as mentioned above, the abrasive disc breaks into pieces during operation. As a rule, this happens so quickly that the worker notices the gap only after it has already occurred. over, the disc can rip off the spindle entirely (the middle breaks out), and it, like a flying saucer, rushes up !

Why this happens and how to avoid ruptured discs on grinders ?

A skewed blade in the cut is one of the most common causes of ripping blades. Most often, the worker himself inadvertently skews the tool, or clamps the disc in the metal (this can happen if you saw in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation, as well as if you cut for squeezing instead of breaking).

Unjustifiably long-term operation. In fact, discs for an angle grinder do not cost much, but some, in order to save a penny, work with them until there is practically one spindle left. In such cases, the discs also break.

Improper use. Grinding with cut-off wheels leads to their rapid thinning, as a result of which the strength of the bond is lost and the wheel is torn apart. Below you can see such a thinned circle:

Factory or acquired defect. chip, crack or break. In the process of work, the circles experience serious overloads, and in addition they noticeably heat up. Chips and cracks slowly creep to the sides and “spread” the disc. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to work with such products.

Some “craftsmen” set it to 22 mm. discs for circular saws adapter flanges, so that it is possible to put such a disc on the spindle of an angle grinder, and then they begin to saw various pieces of wood.

So, if in the process of sawing at least a small knot or other non-uniform area accidentally comes across, then the tool can be pulled out of the hands, and it will fly to no one knows where. For example, in you. By the way, the disk does not stop rotating at a speed of 6-13 thousand revolutions per minute. Or the engine may still burn out, especially with a cheap angle grinder.

Dangers when sawing openings and grooving

When making cuts in concrete walls, reinforcement can get into the area of such a cut. If the disc is diamond, the angle grinder may break out of your hands. If the disc is abrasive, then it can break, and reinforcement particles can, heating up to 500 ° C, fly out of the cut zone directly at you at great speeds.

Before drilling in concrete, it is recommended to check the cutting area with a metal detector, if any. Also, unknown hidden wiring with current-carrying wires, as well as smeared junction boxes and old grooves, carry great dangers. Such things should also be excluded by ringing the walls with a non-contact probe or an electromagnetic radiation detector.

Dangers from improper use of discs

If you cut tiles or granite ceramics with a disc for metal work, then part of the material will curl with shavings, which can fly in any direction at high speed. By the way, the temperature of such chips can reach 600 ° C or even more (literally “white heat”).

A similar situation will happen if you cut tiles at 11 thousand rpm (you need no more than 3 thousand revolutions to cut tiles). Sawing iron with a diamond blade on concrete can cause the angle grinder to tear out of your hands. Cutting aluminum with a disc over steel will damage this disc, and possibly damage the workpiece with the scattering of large torn chips. Etc.

Change circles and make any adjustments only with the plug disconnected. Until the plug is unplugged, nothing like this can be done. !

It is strongly recommended not to use the switch lock. this way the control over the rotation of the disc and in general over the instrument is maintained better.

Never use an angle grinder if the handles are greasy or slippery. They should be thoroughly cleaned of such contamination by 100% before work.

Sparks from the angle grinder are hot and may cause a fire. Therefore, there should be no flammable materials in the cutting area. The fact is that some “construction gurus” claim that they (sparks) are supposedly cold.

Alexey Salo: The crest should not use the Russian angle grinder.

Andrey Porokhnya: And if the disk breaks, it will fly at you, everything is simple

Sergey Ryabchikov: First you need to install the disc correctly. Printing should not be outward.

Reasons for biting

Typically, this problem occurs on an angle grinder with a working surface diameter in the range of 150-180 mm. When a strong torque occurs, the disc bites. This leads to the fact that the attachment cannot be removed with a conventional wrench, even with the application of serious physical effort.

The second common reason is the use of an angle grinder disc that does not match the factory parameters of the tool. This leads to a disruption in the operation of the entire mechanism and jamming. In rare cases, the nut does not lend itself to loosening when rust appears on its threads. This most often occurs during long-term use of the instrument or storage without changing the accessory.

Important! Discs for angle grinders are available in standard sizes, with diameters ranging from 115 to 230 mm. The landing shaft itself is produced with a diameter of 22.2 mm; when using older models, an adapter is required.

How to unscrew if tightened?

To begin with, let’s answer a common question: “In which direction is the nut unscrewed on an angle grinder?”

Remember! You need to unscrew it in the direction of rotation of the disk. Those. if the disc rotates clockwise, then you need to unscrew the nut clockwise.

The easiest way to unscrew the disc mount is to place the wrench and then hit it several times with a moderate hammer.

If that doesn’t work, there are alternative methods for solving the problem:

  • warm up the fastening mechanism with a torch, which will lead to the expansion of the metal. As a result, the structure will become mobile;
  • use a small metal plate to grind the disc down to the nut itself. Continue grinding until its surface touches the nut and begins to twist it;
  • insert the steel pipe into the holes of the nut, use it as a lever to unscrew the tightened nut. Do not apply too much force so as not to break the thread;
  • lubricate the threads with machine oil such as WD-40. Wait 3-5 minutes and then try unscrewing the mount with a wrench. Using this method, you can get rid of rust inside the landing shaft;
  • if you need to remove a circle that has not been used for a long time, you can start tightening the fasteners even more. After that, try again to weaken it;
  • Boiled or rusted threads on an angle grinder can be treated with turpentine, vinegar, white spirit or rust remover. After processing, you need to wait at least 30 minutes, and then try again to unscrew the nut.

If a situation arises when you are left without a key, you can cut down the stuck mount with a chisel or grind it off with a second angle grinder with a disc for working on metal. After that, you will have to restore the thread, as well as look for a spare nut. If the circle still does not lend itself, you can try to combine different methods. For example, treat the shaft with machine oil, and then start unscrewing the nozzle with a lever or tapping the mechanism with a hammer.

Important! Do not unscrew the mount with great force. This can lead not only to breakage of the thread, but also to breakage of the case itself.

How to unscrew the disc nut of an angle grinder (angle grinder) if bitten

So, if there is no way with the key, even if you insert it and hit it slightly with a hammer, then we begin to use something more serious.

The first thing you can try, but again without fanaticism, is to take a rod, insert it into the holes on the nut and, using a hammer, move the nut in the direction of its untwisting. The main thing here is not to break the button and not to rip the holes, as here

The second thing that many advise is to warm the nut. We warm up the nut. As a result, it is slightly, but physically still obliged to expand. Resizing may or may not help

Do not pull all the way until the scroll hold button stopper or the button itself bursts. In this case, it is not the tool with which you unscrew it that breaks, but often the case of the angle grinder.

The third method is the most effective, and, oddly enough, one of the safest for the angle grinder itself.

Next, we use a thin metal plate or another disc (thinner), and maybe a second angle grinder with a disc. In this case, the broken disc must be turned either with a plate or a disc. We try to sharpen the disc so as not to damage the nuts holding this disc, because they will still be useful to us. So we sharpen the whole broken circle until we grind it off and the nut is unscrewed.

If you will be using a second disc or metal plate, it is best to insert them in a vise to hold them. Since it is dangerous to hold such objects with your hands. This method is the most effective.!

Why bites the nut on the angle grinder that holds the disc

I will say, perhaps, a well-known truth. He bites nuts more often on grinders with a disc size of a significant size, say 150-180 mm or more. The thing is that the resulting torque, in the case of a disk impact at the time of the beginning of cutting, is much greater than for a disk, say 125 mm. As a result, the nut is tightened by inertia so much that it is very difficult to break it in the usual and usual ways. Now about the special ways.

an angle grinder, or as it is called more popularly and in a popular way, an angle grinder, nowadays an indispensable and very useful tool. Without it, neither here nor there! And if it suddenly fails, then you have to dodge in every possible way, look for alternatives and think about restoring the instrument. At the same time, it is impossible to use an angle grinder for its intended purpose because of what seems to be a simple pad, when the disc cannot be unscrewed. Rather, the nut that holds this disc is not unscrewed. Here you can “break the wood”, namely, bend or break the key, damage the lock button, break the case, but never unscrew that same unfortunate nut. So, we will warn you right away, if it’s not too late If you suddenly do not unscrew the nut holding the disc with a key, then you need to change tactics. And it is precisely the cardinal method of unscrewing that our article will be devoted.

The angle grinder is a simple and useful tool for home or professional use. The most common problem while working with it is biting the nut that holds the disc. This can be dealt with by mechanical action on the mechanism (blows to the mount, using a lever and grinding the disc), and by chemical methods. treating the thread with oil or rust solvent.
